The series throws light on a psychological thriller show, and there is literally nothing better than to watch the show during a rain storm with a cup of hot chocolate, and no, you cannot change my mind.
As the title already describes, the plot settings are in Vienna, located in Austria, back in the 1900s. The story is adapted from the Liebermann novels written by Frank Tallis. In the lead, we see the character named Liebermann, who is a doctor as well as a student under Sigmund Freud.
Later, we saw him going on business with Police Detective Oskar Rheinhardt. Throughout the show, we see them finding out paranormal insights into a crime and then taking a new approach to solve the murders or other tragedies and get to the bottom of the cases.

1. The Loos House
It is one of the most popular buildings in the country and was erected back in 1912 by Adolf Loos. Right now, it is established as the masterpiece of Viennese modernism. In the series, we saw the building make a debut during the third season. It was used as the exterior of the fashion house that is run by Kristina Vogl.
2. The Buggarten
This is a beautiful location in the city. It is actually a park that is located next to Hofburg Palace and was used for a variety of shots in the show. We saw Max and Clara walking together once at this place, and it was absolutely stunning and relaxing.
3. The Natural History Museum
The Natural History Museum is located right in the middle of Vienna. It made a feature in the first season of the show, where we saw Max and Oskar going to the location in order to investigate a murder.
4. The Ferris Wheel
This is a huge Ferris wheel located in the Prater amusement park in Vienna. It is a scenic spot, and the rides are also amazing. The location was used in the first season when we saw Max and Clara go on a date together.
5. The Imperial Hotel
This is one of the historic hotels that exist in the city and was built back in 1873. We saw a lot of scenes being shot at this place during the first season of the show. This was also the place where the Countess was shown as murdered.
6. The Votivkirche
This is a Gothic church located in the middle of Vienna and is a very popular tourist attraction. It was seen in the first season while Max and Oskar were trying to investigate a murder mystery they were caught up in.
7. The Vienna State Opera
This is a beautiful Opera House located in the city, and various shows happen inside it regularly. During the first season, we saw Max and Oskar attend the performance of The Magic Flute here.
8. The Herz Jesu Church
The Herz Jesu Church is located in the Leopoldstadt district in the city. It was again used in the first season when we saw our duo going on to investigate a murder scene.
There are other locations featured on the course of the show as well, such as the University of Vienna and the Naschmarkt market. Budapest Hungary was also used in the third season during the filming of various scenes.
