Where is “Two Tickets To Paradise” filmed has been the thing on the mind of all that had watched it. Released as a part of the Summer Nights lineup produced by Hallmark, the TV movie has propelled a new turn to the much-loved trope of jilted lovers. Premiered at 8 pm ET (Eastern Time) on Saturday, 25th of June 2022 on Hallmark Channel, this movie breathes fresh air to the concept of paradise by taking us along to the paradise on earth, Hawaii.
A picturesque movie promising to showcase the blue oceans to the fullest is a hard promise to take a pass on. The story is about a jilted bride and groom who happened to stay at the same resort after their failed weddings by a twist of fate. It is hard to hate a happy-to-go comfort movie like this. Director Dustin Rikert, along with writers Tracy Andreen and Kevin Taft, had come together with this sweet romantic comedy to lighten us up in the Summer. Those that worked on the movie hoped it would change the face of Television cinema, while we can only hope, let us dive into the beaches that have left the audience yearning.

Two Tickets To Paradise Filming Locations
The producers proudly say that the location of the film is none other than the famous tourist destination of Hawaii, the very holiday point that the couple goes to in the movie. The initial location for the filming was a small surf spot called Makaha on the west side of the beautiful island, but it was shifted to explore the rest of the landscape. Hawaii has always been at the heart of many Hallmark movies, and this was no different. The main places explored in the shooting were in and around Honolulu, the Hawaiian capital, on Oahu, also known as the “The Gathering Place”. Especially the Kaneohe Bay Sandbar, known for its exposed islets by the coral reefs, which one can get a glimpse of in the movie.
The resort at which the main characters were staying at in the movie was the Royal Hawaiian Resort, as posted by cast member Kimee Balmilero on Instagram. The actors playing the deuteragonists shared their experiences on the islands, of shooting out in the ocean, and how elated they felt in an interview by Hallmark. They admitted that making a movie in Hawaii is a fun experience. They also said that they had kept to the traditions of Hawaii by taking the blessings of a shaman who rubbed 30-year-old rainwater on their head to incur connection and creativity amongst the cast members. Each room at this luxurious hotel costs over $500 per night at the lowest.
The Cast: Who Stars In Two Tickets to Paradise?
The movie stars Ashley Williams, known for “Sister Swap: A Hometown Holiday”, as Hannah Holt, and Ryan Paevey, starring in “A Timeless Christmas”, as Josh Wyatt, who are no strangers to the family of Hallmark, supported by a wonderful cast of Mary-Margaret Humes as Alice, Kimee Balmilero as Kailani, Olivia Hoffman as CeeCee, Jhey Castles as Sara and Tim Herkenhoff, Cody Easterbrook, Reyn Halford, Peter Togawa, Ashley Weismantel, Makana David and Kathy Paulo in other pivotal roles.
The cast has confessed to having gone cruising, enjoying their sun-lit times at the warm beaches of Hawaii, while Ryan had gone surfing to catch some waves. They attested that the feelings expressed towards the scenery were genuine and unfiltered.

The Plot Of this Summer Love Story
The movie begins with a bride and a groom, stood up at their altars by their partners. Heartbroken, they cross paths at the park, sitting on the same bench, brooding their unfortunate turn of events when they narrate their experiences to each other and find solace in each other’s misery. The duo urges each other to go on their planned honeymoons without their partners, not to succumb to their pain. Taking up the advice, both go on their way but meet each, once again, at the same Hawaiian resort and, as fate would have it, catch themselves enjoying each other’s company.
Not too cheesy and tacky with the right amount of fun and intrigue, this amazing film cannot be confused with the 2006 movie and the cult classic song by Eddie Money with the same name. Be sure to watch it on FuboTV and DIRECTV while it is streaming.
