Given the fact that the show has come to an end, fans are curious about Succession ending filming locations. Obviously, the series has seen a huge rise in its popularity during the later seasons. The fans would love to visit the places one day where their favorite series was shot. The tenth episode, which ended the fourth season of Succession, is titled With Open Eyes. Jesse Armstrong had written the script for the same, while Mark Mylod had directed it.
In this episode, we saw Roman, Kendall, and Shiv in the lead. The siblings were trying to manipulate the Waystar Royco hoard meeting. GoJo wants to acquire the company, and the members are going to vote for the same. Kendall obviously does not want to let the company name dissolve under GoJo.
As for Shiv and Matsson, they are pretty sure that the board will favor their decision. Everyone also learns about Roman and the wounds he has. While they are flying over to Caroline’s residence, we see Shiv calling Tom. Their relationship is obviously on a very rocky road. She asks him for a second chance, but he is quite hesitant about the same.
Succession Ending Explained
While talking with Matsson, he talks about Tom should be the CEO. It is because he himself is a bit threatened by Shiv. While Matsson is talking with Oskar in Swedish, Greg is able to make out the conversation via a translator app. He deduces the fact that Shiv will not be the CEO of the company.
When Kendall comes to know about the same, he convinces her sibling to turn absolutely against Matsson. It is confirmed that only a single CEO is going to sit on the throne and satisfy the board. Shiv and Roman form an alliance and even endorse Kendall in the middle.
They have a very cute moment with each other in Caroline’s kitchen, and it really feels like home to see them together being playful with each other. Later, they come back to New York. Here, they find out Connor and Willa are dividing all the assets of Logan.
They are obviously very connected with each other right now and get even more emotional while watching a video of Logan having dinner with Kerry and Connor, as well as his group. Tom and Shiv are on opposite ends of the rivalry, and he finally reveals to her that Matsson has selected him to be the CEO. Although, she tells him that there are enough votes with her that will block the deal.
