Sicario is a 2015 action thriller movie. Sicario means Hitman and is a Spanish word for the same. Denis Villeneuve is Sicario’s dirctor. Taylor Sheridan is the writer of the movie. Basil Iwanyk, Edward L. McDonnell, Molly Smith, Thad Luckinbill, and Trent Luckinbill are the movie’s producers.
The movie’s cast includes Emily Blunt, Josh Brolin, Benicio del Toro, Victor Garber, Daniel Kaluuya, Jon Bernthal, Jefferey Donovan, Raoul Trujillo, Julio Cesar Cedillo, Hank Rogerson, Bernardo Sarachino, Edgar Arreola. The movie was released on 19 May 2015 at Cannes and on 18 September 2015 in the United States.

Plot Of Sicario
The movie revolves around Kate Macer, an FBI Agent who gets on the government’s list to do a task force to eradicate the rising war against drugs at the border of the United States and Mexico. After this, Kate decided to join the team; this team was led by Matt Graver, played by Josh Brolin, and the mysterious Hitman, Alejandro, played by Benicio Del Toro.
Three of them prepare to start a dangerous journey to track down and get hold of a drug lord, Fausto Alarcon, played by Julio Cedillo. As the three of them get more engrossed in the dark world of drugs, Kate starts questioning everything. She has also seen choosing where her allegiances lie. But they overcome all of these insecurities, and they become successful in capturing Alarcon.
But they did this by sacrificing innocent lives. Later in the movie, Kate learns that Alejandro is a former lawyer whose family was killed at the hands of Alarcon. Ultimately, Kate realizes she is just a small part of the bigger picture that Alejandro is planning. But she was hurt deeply and was left traumatized.
