Pat has been hosting his show, The Pat Mcafee Show, on YouTube since 2017. He left Barstool Sports and hosted his show on SiriusXM till August 2022. A multilayered deal got announced in May 2023, according to which The Pat McAfee show will get shifted to ESPN.
Thus, Pat’s videos will get aired on ESPN+, ESPN, and its YouTube channel in the fall of 2023. He has also been a producer and writer for WWE NXT (2010) and WWE Smackdown! (1999).
Pat McAfee once said many companies asked him to move to Florida, New York, and Los Angeles. But, he supports the internet because it helps him reach a wide range of audiences sitting at any place. Thus, the place does not matter. What matters is whether he reaches his audience.

Downtown, Indianapolis
The Pat Mcafee Show gets aired on YouTube and provides sports commentary, news, information, and more. Pat organizes podcasts where people love to talk about sports. Meanwhile, The show got based in downtown Indianapolis, Indiana.
Pat McAfee and his team conducted the show in an apartment complex at 900 N. Meridian Street in downtown Indianapolis. On the other hand, a fire broke out at the Library Square Apartments in May 2022. The complex is next to Pat’s studio. The fire department put the fire out, and Pat was still streaming his show.
Finally, the fire department cut the power supply, and Pat had to get out of the building with his team. Later, Pat McAfee shared it on Twitter, stating that everyone was (fortunately) safe there.
Lawrence’s Empty Church
After three years, Pat McAfee moved his foundation office and media operations to Lawrence’s empty Church building. The headquarters of the show got located at 7551 Oaklandon Road, Indianapolis. The Church building came back under taxation when Pat McAfee Foundation and Pat McAfee Inc. moved there.
Pat used the area for office space and the foundation for his father, Tim McAfee. The space was also expected to get used for the sports field and basketball courts for the staff members.
The Church building is 70% larger than Pat McAfee’s old building because the older one was only 1,000 square feet long, whereas the newer one is 16,910. It is at the corner of 75th Street and Oaklandon Road, which is not far away from Pat McAfee’s house in Lawrence. Thus, it was a great opportunity for him.
The nearby residents assumed that the crime rate and nuisance would increase in the area. However, Pat wanted to prove them wrong and make them proud by falsifying their assumptions. His fans ask that will a vacant Church not attract criminals. Additional staff members could get hired if Pat moved out, but we see no signs of him moving out of Indianapolis.
Pat thinks that most of his people are in Indianapolis. He will welcome additional staff members but not at the cost of shifting somewhere. Meanwhile, no architect got hired to design the building till January 2021.
The Thunder Dome Studio
The Pat McAfee Show got a new home in September 2022 in the Thunder Dome studio in the FanDuel Igloo. Accordingly, the new workplace in Indianapolis has a golf simulator and a basketball court. Pat made a deal of $120 million with FanDuel in December 2021, and the studio is part of it.
However, the studio got plagued by a few sound issues as the microphones did not work well when Pat got busy welcoming his viewers on the show. Thus, the early moments of the video got filmed in the control room. Pat admits he decided to shift to the new place, but his team worked hard during the procedure.
