“Laughing All The Way” from Lifetime Channel will take the viewers on a snowy ride with a Christmas theme as we see the story of Hollywood star Mike Baxter and comedian Aubri Wilson.
As Aubri is working to arrange a Christmas special and Mike leans back to his comic roots, their lively journey happens in the electric streets, and charming landmarks in beautiful Ottawa.
It is directed by Marita Grabiak and the script is penned by Dane K Braun, Rickie Castaneda, and Megan Hocking. Lisa Alford and Joe Wilka were the executive producers of the movie under Fireside Films Inc. And Johnson Management Group.
Filming Locations of Laughing All The Way
This romantic comedy was shot in Ontario, specifically in Ottawa, Canada, the capital city. The filming of the movie happened in February 2023, On Instagram, Amanda shared a post with the caption, cannot wait to see what the future has in store.
The filming crew of the movie set up the camps in the beautiful Street of Elgin Street to capture a few scenes in places like Harmon’s Steakhouse, The Waverly Elgin, and Confederation Park as per CCTV reported.
The Waverly Elgin, Downtown Ottawa
The Waverly Elgin was built in 1962 and is a historical downtown apartment. It has a mid-century architecture with clean alignment, patterned concrete screens, and balcony railings and is an iconic backdrop, making the theme 1960 suitable.
In Feb 2023, Pani Zade also shared a photo on her Instagram while filming for the movie. The hallway and lobby with the vintage touch of terrazzo floors and original lighting give it a nostalgic vibe.
Scenes that were filmed inside were done in the kitchen inside the building, and the living area was decorated in period style.
Harmon’s Steakhouse, Ottawa
Harmon’s Steakhouse has been working since 1988. It’s a long-standing linear statehouse setup inside a converted bank building back in the 1900s.
Its display of a liquor room, wine cellar, and dining room separated by bricks makes it visually appealing. The pale tablecloth, tin ceilings, and dark wood panels provide an elegant and eye-pleasing dining space with a classic blend to it.
Harmon is visible in the scenes where the actors go for high-end dinners for dinner and drinks.
Confederation Park, Ottawa
Confederation Park was built in 1967, it coincides with Canada’s centennial festivities, the park blends the aged designs with the Ottawa River and Rideau Canal.
As one of the landmark parks of Ottawa, it offers manicured areas for sitting around and a huge area for sports and play. Ish Morris also shared a picture while filming the film.
Scenes showing families enjoying picnics, sports games, or even rallies can use many backdrops inside Confederation Park. The scenes of Ottawa Locks and Parliament Hill play a crucial role in depicting patriotism.
Carleton Place, East Ontario
The calm downtown place and photogenic streets give a suitable vibe for filming a heartwarming holiday film. Noel Next Door was also filled there in 2022.

Other major Ottawa places like Eldorado Taco and Byword Market served as shooting locations for the movie. With a lot of snowfall and regressive architectural spots, Ottawa gave an ideal stage for filming the movie.
Iconic Ottawa landmarks constantly appeared in the movie, majorly exterior scenes were a part of these shots. Then there were other scenic spots like Château Laurier Hotel which is very striking, the National Gallery of Canada, and Rideau Canal.
