Cassie (real name Cassandra Ventura) has since married Alex Fine and had a baby, but her relationship with Diddy continues to make headlines.
Although Cassie and Diddy have not officially called themselves a couple, they have attended many events together, including Kanye West’s Paris Fashion Week show in March. This pretty much told you they were in it together, even if they didn’t say it outright.
A perfect example of this was Diddy’s public comments about Cassie several times throughout 2018 on his popular radio show, The Breakfast Club. He explained that he wanted to have children, but of course, he would only have them with my girlfriend (Cathy).
Cassie’s Personal Life
From 2007 to 2018, Cassie was in a long-term relationship with Sean Combs. The lawsuit was filed on November 16, 2023, alleging “rape and repeated physical abuse over a period of approximately ten years.”
Cassie filed a lawsuit in a Manhattan court using something called the Adult Survivors Act. This law in New York helps people who’ve faced sexual assault. It lets them file lawsuits even if a lot of time has passed since the incident beyond the usual time limit.
Then, love smiled back at Cassie, who started dating fitness trainer Alex Fine at the end of 2018. Soon after, she received the good news that her baby was born in June 2019. The two (Cassie and Fine) were married just one month later.
The planned wedding date was revealed in a video on Fine’s Instagram account on August 28, 2019, and an image was posted on Vogue magazine’s official website in late October 2019.
The couple’s first child, a baby girl, was born on December 6, 2019. She and Fine announced they were expecting their second child in December 2020. On March 22, 2021, the couple’s second child, a daughter, was born.

Cassie and Diddy met in the year 2005. Later on, she was able to record her first album, Cassie; this was easy for her with the help of Diddy at Bad Boy Records. In those days, Diddy was with Kim Porter (his partner for a long time and the mom of his kids).
In the year 2007, Cassie turned out to be the face of Diddy’s trending clothing line, Sean John. Even though people said so many things about them being in a relationship, Diddy kept going back and forth with Kim until the year 2009. Precisely in November, that’s in the year 2023, Cassie had to sue Diddy; she said he treated her really badly when they were together.

One day after filing the lawsuit, Cassie confirmed that she and Diddy had reached a settlement.
“I have decided to resolve this matter amicably on terms that I have some level of control over,” the singer said in a November 17 statement distributed by her attorney, Doug Wigdor.
“I want to thank my family, fans, and lawyers for their unwavering support.” Diddy also released a statement through Wigdor, sharing that they had decided to resolve the matter “amicably.”
Cassie and Diddy’s Separation
In August 2016, many people talked about Diddy and Cassie as a result of the fight they had while driving in LA. Diddy grabbed Cassie’s phone and got out of the car. Later, he went back home to give her the phone.
The news made it clear that Cassie’s mother called the police about it, and the police recorded what happened because it was a family problem.
The NY Times, on their own part, said that on 16 November 2023, Cassie carried out legal action against Diddy. She accused him of “rape as well as years of abuse.”

That is not all; Diddy’s spokesperson had this to say: “Mr. Combs did not stop to deny the serious allegations that were leveled against him.” The rep added, “They are no longer a couple and have not been for months.” A year later, in the year 2019, Kathy got married to her trainer, Alex Fine.
