What Happened To Victor In Emmerdale? The popular British television soap opera Emmerdale has been an absolute fan favorite show for a while now. The long-running series made its debut during the late 1980s and has been a smash hit since then. Emmerdale has been broadcasting twice daily on ITV 3 from 2019 onwards.
One of the prominent characters of the show, Victor, who is Claudette Anderson’s estranged husband and Charles Anderson’s father, has been a notorious one in the show. Victor was recently seen being released from prison behind bars for 25 long years. Victor was imprisoned for an armed robbery as he was accused of nearly battering a security guard to death. Let us find out what happened to Victor In Emmerdale.
What Happened To Victor In Emmerdale?
While viewers saw how Victor made a huge revelation after he was released from prison, Victor opened up to his son about his ill health, as he revealed he had an aneurysm. However, given Victor’s past, Charles doubts the authenticity of the confession and assumes that he must be lying about his health condition in order to get closer to Claudette.
Amidst this health confession, Victor was also accused of stealing an expensive necklace, and while Manpreet called the police on him, something even more devastating was about to happen. Viewers saw Victor in the church as he appeared to pray, but viewers were left stunned to learn that Victor was actually dead! After making the devastating discovery, Claudette had an emotional breakdown as she was in tears and hugged Victor.

Who Played Victor In Emmerdale?
Actor Eddie Osei played three roles of Victor in Emmerdale. While Victor has taken an exit from the show, series star Kevin Mathurin penned down a heartfelt farewell as he wrote how Eddie played Victor so well and that he will always remember how much Eddie made him laugh at how dastardly he really was while calling him a great guy and that Eddie would be deeply missed by The Andersons.

Actor Chris Bisson, who plays the role of Jai Sharma, also joined in on the tributes as he insisted that a nicer man they will not meet, in spite of the character of Victor being a bit of a wheeler-dealer on the popular show.
As Eddie Osei made his debut on the show earlier this year, the actor admitted that he feels privileged to be joining such a great show and is honored to be working with the fantastic cast and crew.
Eddie further added that it has been very exciting for him to be playing Victor while calling Victor, an enigmatic character and as someone who causes the Anderson family so much trouble.
Eddie has earlier starred in EastEnders, where he played Danny Harrison in 2000, and then starred in Footballers’ Wives, as Doctor Yes back in 2004. Eddie’s movie credits include Exorcist: The Beginning, Sahara, and Dominion.
Charles Anderson Makes A Shocking Revelation!
It seems like Charles Anderson’s doubts about his father’s health condition were not true after all! While Charles is seemingly inconsolable about losing his father, this makes Manpreet suspicious as the vicar has never been close to his father and actually resented his father.
While Manpreet tried to support Charles, Charles made a rather huge revelation, saying, that Victor never really stole the necklace and it was Charles who swiped it and deliberately planted it in Victor’s pocket to get him in trouble.
The reason why Victor did it is because he thought it would make Victor leave the village for good, but he never would have imagined that his father would pass away with a false accusation on him. It seems like Charles never believed his father and thought he was lying about an unruptured aneurysm so that he could reconcile with his wife Claudette, but it turns out, Victor was not actually lying.
