Michael Delgiorno left SuperTalk 99.7 WTN last month. The news turned out to be very much shocking to all. The talk show host recently made headlines because of this, but not everyone knows about what went wrong. Before everything, let’s briefly discuss Michael Delgiorno’s prominence in the industry.
Michael Delgiorno is a talk radio show host. Earlier, he was significantly known for being the son of another great radio personality, Bob Delgiorno. Remember? He was born on 30 August 1964. Michael was previously involved with KFAQ in Tulsa, Oklahoma. He served for the same for five years, more precisely from 2002 to 2007. In case you forgot, KFAQ is a talk radio station. After he parted ways, his co-host Gwen Freeman continued the same until February 2008.
After Michael Delgiorno departed from KFAQ, he joined a higher-rated talk station in Nashville. That’s the SuperTalk 99.7 WTN. Besides this, Michael also penned a memoir titled “Standing Up for What’s Right.” It was published back in 2004. Being his fan, you must give it a read.
Returning to Michael Delgiorno, his departure from the WWTN turned out to be upsetting to many. He left it after serving it for long years. Well, he must have some valid reasons behind it. Why? If you are looking for what happened to Michael Delgiorno, here is what we know.

Michael Delgiorno Left SuperTalk 99.7 WTN: What Happened?
Michael Delgiorno left SuperTalk 99.7 WTN, a talk station in Nashville, after serving for so many years. It is reported that ‘he is no longer with the station.’ His final episode was broadcasted on 17 March 2023. Later, J.D. Hayworth hosted the show on Monday and Tuesday. On the other hand, Pamela Furr handled the hosting duties for the morning shift on the other days of the week.
Now, the question is, what did Michael Delgiorno leave SuperTalk 99.7 WTN? Following his exit, his profile was also got removed from the website. The reason behind taking such a drastic step (stepping down from the Nashville talk radio station) is still kept under wraps. In other words, Michael didn’t explain his sudden departure after serving since 2007.
People discussed Michael Delgiorno’s departure from SuperTalk 99.7 WTN to different social media platforms. Still, nobody could assume or figure out anything. So, it’s still unknown. Well, nobody expected him to make a move.
Little did you know, Michael is married to the love of his life, Andrea. They are blessed with three children: Anna, Alex, and Nick, respectively. It seems like he has his family’s full support. Concerning his exit, Andrea appears to have supported him enough and approved of his decision. Nothing much about his spouse is known as she seems to be private.
Michael is yet to comment on his decision to exit from WWTN. However, it is assumed that he didn’t feud with his teammates. Best Wishes to Michael Delgiorno for the upcoming days of his life. Make sure you follow Michael on his social media account for more updates.
Best thing that ever happened to WTN.
Micheal may have been alright as a person. But as a talk show host, he was a hypocrite and a joke. He constantly boasted about being a Christian but proved otherwise every time. If he had never claimed to be a Christian, I would have never gave it a second thought.
He was very boisterous and child like in his obsession with passing gas. I don’t know what WTN saw in him. Apparently they saw something that I couldn’t.
So glad he is gone! It was always interesting to see how long it took for me to turn him off when I got in the car. He was a braggart and inappropriate.
He did a nice imitation of Keith Jackson. Other than that I had no use for him.
Believe it or not I’d rather listen to Pamela Furr before listening to Delgiorno, if that says anything lol.. Dude was very annoying.
You people are fools. Michael was the best host on this entire station. Nashville has been fortunate to have him all these years. You act as if someone is a Christian or even religious they are a perfect human, not allowed to make mistakes. Probly because it makes you feel better.
He also brought a level of truth, wisdom and knowledge to most stories that most would never have realized.
I hope he and tucker start their own show.
When I first started listening to Del Giorno’s show, it was good and his commentary was relevant, but as time went on the show seemed to run out of gas in the first hour with Del Giorno shitting the bed trying to fill the remaining two hours with content that was not totally redudant or just a rehash of the “The Social Dilemma” which got mentioned constantly with little-to-no explanation as to why. For reference, The Social Dilemma is a Netflix documentary that is worth watching. So are the Matrix films, which Del Giorno also constantly mentioned without answering the question of “what if people like being in the matrix? What then?”
His show struggled for content, he never took calls and banged the same drum 4 days of the week, but not Friday as Friday was Dave Zanotti day and Friday shows were the best as the guests generally had more relevant and interesting things to say.
Del Giorno’s ratings were shit because 4 days of shitting the bed and banging the same drum over and over does little to inspire people to listen or continue listening.
Michael will be missed. WTN has good hosts for news radio. I will miss the unashamed biblical worldview that shows news not being simple petty drama of right v left. But defines actual good and evil, and exposes it.
The silliness was a nice escape for a time, while being an adult about current events
Best host on the station. Not sure what the rest of these station shills are going on about. The only host who had a fresh take on subjects. Micheal always made me think about things from a different angle. The rest of the hosts, especially Furr, are as predictable as they come. Give me a situation, I can tell you what each of them will say about it. Maybe that’s what people want? They want a host who will just parrot the prevailing narrative and not challenge their way of thinking. Well I haven’t listened to the station since Micheal left. I tuned in one day heard Pamela, turned it off. Same thing the next day, etc, until I gave up and stopped listening.
I wish him well but I did not listen to his show.He was such a brag.I respect him for being bold about his love for God but at the same time I wondered how he could be so off color. We are the example.
I was really taking back the first time I heard him share his faith so freely on a non-religious show however over time I really appreciate it his boldness but none of that could overcome how much I despise listening to sports talk on and on and on on a non-sport show. And for the life of me I never understood why he made dave zenotti such a centerpiece of his show I didn’t find him particularly fascinating. But to be honest I realize I judge all the hosts harshly I sure do miss oh Uncle Phil God rest his soul!
He made me laugh out loud alot! I enjoyed him very much and he will be missed.
I turn WTN off at 9a, He was entertaining. Did have some off-color moments occasionally but all the hosts do! For real news I listen to Hannedy and Levin. The morning show is entertaining,
I miss Ralph Bristol, and I miss the crap out of Phil Valentine. Matt Murphy is ok and the only reason I listen to the station anymore. I agree Michael was stuck in a rut “The social dilema, the matrix, the circle” all the time everyday… Or just having people on the phone telling their opinion. Not taking phone calls. Not “reading for the blind” (which I always found a little arrogant, just read it man!) I do miss him though cause when he hit a point he hit it hard and truthful. If I remember correctly he went on “vacation” the week of the Nashville school shooting and I was interested to hear his input the following week but he never came back. Maybe he’ll do his own podcast thing cause I feel he’s the type of person who just, can’t, stop, talking… lol God bless him
He may not have had a choice, quit or get fired.
I hope he’s doing well. He commented nearly daily how much he hated the job of being a host, so I could see him choosing to leave and do something else as much as I could see them letting him go. He was very powerful especially when he went into a religious point on an issue. A lot of worthless sports talk I could live without. Will miss his Christmas special and when he was with Gwynn. Had great guests, but seemed to always talk over them right when they were saying something I really wanted to hear.
I was addicted to Michael for years then Allison came along she changed him she ruined him because he wasn’t allowed to be himself anymore
Who is Allison ?
Probably like Tucker, if you say things the New World Order bunch don’t like you are gone. These people on now act like they can’t comment on anything controversial.
When he began the sports commentary, I tuned the radio to a different station. I remember him speaking on buying a new house and new cars for his kids and his advertisements on debt reconsolidation.
I know it’s none of our business why he left but he could have at least said goodbye or left us with some small reason that he left pretty crappy if you ask me.
Michael was at his best when he spoke of current events from his biblical perspective. I appreciated how bold he was to talk about his faith on the air. The misconception of many non-believers is that Christians claim to be perfect, as evidenced by many comments on here about Michael. They use that misconception to point fingers any time a Christian does or says something un-Christian-like. My only frustration with Michael, as someone else pointed out, was he always interrupted his guests right when they were making their point. I also didn’t like his slapstick humor bits. But when he spoke of faith and the state of our country, he was spot on. WTN is left with “conservative-light” apologists who have no in-depth knowledge of their topics, only what they read in someone else’s article. Their opinions and comments are very predictable and safe. WTN is the biggest talk radio station in Nashville. Where is the Chris Plant Show, EIB Network, etc? I don’t tune in much anymore unless it’s Levin in the evening.
I agree with this person makes about Michael .
He came off as arrogant, wouldn’t take calls, his endorsements were a joke….he bragged about Jeff Edy who operates a heating & air conditioning repair company who apparently doesn’t work weekends..thermostat went out on a Saturday & they were closed.
God Bless Michael and his family. I wish him the best. I appreciate his Christian views. I loved the way he could tell a story.
One of the problems was during Covid and he had his microphone so low end bass, it was nearly impossible to understand what he was saying, and if you turn it up loud enough, it would crack the speakers. We stopped listening back then. The sophomoric humor hurt him. But I think the biggest problem have been since Dan Mandis has arrived. I cannot listen to his squeaky girly voice the beginning every sentence with the word “I.” It’s hard to wake up and he just vomited all over you and doesn’t take a breath. Brian Wilson was the perfect morning Guy and should have remained there. So the mix of Dan first thing in the morning and then not being able to hear Michael, who had gone stale, even though he’s a great guy, the mornings were dead. Then, Murphy is really smart and very talented but he’s got to pull that microphone out of his mouth and swallow. Also, that very weird goat laugh is too annoying. Chris plante is the best morning guy. Joe Pags, and Michael Berry are the best drivetime guys check them out on iHeart.
Overall…I thought he was good at what he did. I liked how he mixed in some of the sports talk and would frame it in a very generic way that we could generally agree with. He would have Titans color man Mike Keith on regularly during the season….that was great and I’ll miss that. His impersonations were funny. I can do without the religious rants though. I can remember Michael laughing hysterically at me when in 2015 I told him Trump would be our next president. Even talk show hosts are in fact wrong sometimes. I wish he would let us know what happened….but he’s got his reasons I’m sure.
Michael is the voice of reason!
