The news has been further confirmed by coach Kliff Kingsbury during a press conference. The coach stated that Murray would be done for the year with a torn ACL while calling it unfortunate.
Kingsbury further explained that while it is tough as he sees the teams go through it every week, but one loses the starter on the third play of the game, non-contact, it is tough to watch and see as he further added that one has to be able to rebound and play the game. The coach also revealed that he had never seen Murray in that type of emotional shape, so he assumed that it was not good.

Now that Murray is put for his injury, Colt McCoy has replaced Murray in the lineup and is all set to serve as the team’s starter for the rest of the year.
