What Happened to KiKi Dee?
Back in 2022, Kiki was diagnosed with cancer in her womb. She was in her 30s when she got to know about her medical condition, and it was quite serious. She also tested positive for COVID, but despite this, she did not leave her work and did not cancel any concerts that were scheduled to be held at that time.
She expressed how she felt sad about canceling 2 shows at Harlem because of the side effects of cancer and said that she is very frustrated with her voice. Even in April 2022, she was down with COVID, and due to this, many of her concerts and shows got affected.
Kiki was 40 years old when she realized that she had uterine cancer. Signs of this was a routine smear test which she did that she came to know about soon. Though she recovered soon from this, she said that it was a life-changing thing for her because she realized how uncertain life is and anything can happen at any moment.
Kiki, in an interview, stated that having cancer in the womb means that she could never know how she would have a child first up though she has no children yet, but just the mere thought of it made her shiver. She revealed that she has no regrets about it and is happy with whatever she has.

She got her first job at the age of 16 when a business enterprise paid her for singing at their event. She loved singing so much that she was even ready to put extra hours into this passion of hers.
