It was on 29 January 2023, when Rickey Smiley took to social media, for announcing Brandon Smiley’s death news. Based on his date of birth, Brandon was then 32 years old. It was indeed very early.
To be more precise about the timing, Brandon Smiley was found dead, moreover unresponsive, at his residence by one of his pals. At that time, it was reportedly around 10:07 a.m. Without wasting much time, he was taken to the UAB Hospital, where the doctors declared him to be dead, around 10:52 a.m. But, what went wrong? Well, an autopsy was performed in the early morning. But, nothing foul got suspected.
While announcing the news, Rickey Smiley didn’t mention any cause of his son’s loss. That fueled the willingness among the fans though. Not to forget to mention that Brandon was his oldest son. Instead, being the father, he asked everyone to pray for him and his family.
