The compelling plot and stunning characters of Jujutsu Kaisen have made it an instant hit in the anime community. There’s more to this show than simply the supernatural and action.
From the surprising source of its ideas to the subtle allusions it makes, Jujutsu Kaisen is full of interesting details that even the most devoted fans could miss.
One of the most potent and malevolent curses in the Jujutsu Kaisen universe is Ryomen Sukuna. Sukuna’s reputation as the King of Curses causes jujutsu sorcerers and various other cursed spirits to cower in terror.
The circumstances of Sukuna’s transformation from a human to a cursed spirit and his existence before that transformation are mostly unknown.
Jogo is very conceited, although his strength justifies part of his conceit. Jogo leaves the meeting of the Cursed Demons and Kenjaku to have a one-on-one confrontation with Gojo Satoru.
During the Shibuya Incident, Jogo continues to challenge Gojo with Hanami, unfazed by his brutal beating. A knowledgeable Cursed Spirit like Jogo is revealed to have nuanced feelings, such as grief for the deaths of Dagon and Hanami.
The cursed spirit initially had the upper hand in their battles, but Jogo seems to take pleasure in torturing people by killing them on purpose so that he may better combat Gojo. The volcano on Jogo’s head erupts anytime he gets furious, demonstrating that he has a short fuse.
What Chapter Is Jogo Vs Sukuna? Explained
Beginning in Chapter 111 and continuing until Chapter 116, the sorcerers fought each other. The sorcerers were having a furious dispute in the middle of Shibuya when a massive explosion went off.
A part of the house erupts into flames, and Jogo, already injured from the beginning of the conflict, crashes through it and falls into the air.
In response, Jogo says he’s not done battling and shoots a fireball at his opponent. Jogo’s plan is derailed, however, as Sukuna’s cursed technique abruptly dices apart his arms.
Sukuna leaps into the air to grab Jogo’s face as he crashes to the ground, then uses his bare hands to crush the cursed spirit’s head through the tiled roof of a neighboring building.
The combined force of the hit sends Jogo and Sukuna hurtling through the building’s top levels and crashing to the earth below with devastating force.
Jogo, his mouth severed and limbs severed, is on his knees, healing but knowing he will never again compete with Sukuna’s might.
Massive volumes of gunfire erupted suddenly from the building’s doors. Sukuna escapes the building, and Jogo unleashes his last move, Maximum: Meteor, to go after him. Jogo fires a huge, blazing meteor toward Sukuna, wiping out the whole Shibuya district. The use of his maximum method, he believes, may have harmed Sukuna as well.
Sukuna appears out of nowhere, right next to Jogo atop the smoldering meteor. Domain expansion is not used, and Jogo is questioned about it.
Jogo admits that he would lose to Satoru Gojo in a battle of domains, and Sukuna deduces that this loss has left Jogo feeling insecure.
Sukuna learns the truth about Jogo’s views while in the realm. According to Sukuna, Jogo should have set the world on fire without thinking about Satoru Gojo.
Sukuna applauds Jogo’s bravery and tells him he should be pleased with himself. The strongest monster in the world sheds a tear of recognition for Jogo after seeing him for the first time.
Who Is Sukuna In Jujutsu Kaisen?
The names “Ryomen Sukuna” and “King of Curses” were bestowed on Sukuna in recognition of his exceptional skill and wit. The legendary Jujutsu sorcerer Sukuna existed over a thousand years ago, yet he was only a person who succumbed to evil.
The author of Jujutsu Kaisen, Gege Akutami, portrays Sukuna as more of a living tragedy than a magician. According to Gojo Satoru, sorcerers of the Golden Age of Jujutsu Sorcery had to band together to take on Sukuna.
Sukuna, the primary adversary of Jujutsu Kaisen, is a shadowy character. Even though he died over a thousand years ago, very little is known about him. No one in the Judo world even knows his real name.
He was given the moniker Ryomen Sukuna to reflect his reputation for exceptional skill and intelligence. As a cursed ghost, his spirit now possesses Yuji’s body, giving him tremendous power in the present.
Despite their differences at first glance, the two Sukunas have many similarities. According to Nihon Shoki, the tyrant empire’s armies successfully overran Sukuna.
The premise, like the anime and manga, focuses on a group of Heinan-era Jujutsu sorcerers banding together to defeat a common foe. Because Sukuna was a threat to the established order, he had to be eliminated from the show.
Who Is Jogo In Jujutsu Kaisen?
Kenjaku claims that Jogo is as powerful as eight or nine of Sukuna’s fingers put together. Jogo can use a range of fire-based attacks.
Including conjuring massive volumes of flames from his hands and increasing the temperature around him to the point that commoners and weak sorcerers would burn to death just by being in his presence.
Jogo may also construct small volcanoes on anything and have them explode with a focused stream of fire or call out swarms of bugs that burst upon impact. Jogo’s ultimate power is the Maximum: Meteor when he conjures a massive, blazing meteor and hurls it at his opponent.
Sukuna admits that he would be hurt by this ability and that it could destroy a sizable chunk of a city with relative ease. Jogo was persistent and tough to expel in every instance.
Jogo was able to survive many of Satoru Gojo’s cursed techniques, including the iconic Cursed Technique Reversal: Red, before succumbing to defeat. He was also tough enough to take many blows from Sukuna and get up each time.
