FOX’s newest game show, We Are Family seems to be taking the game show genre to another level by bringing in new celebrities every week. With Anthony Anderson (Black-ish) and Doris Bowman as the hosts, this game show will be inviting three new exciting celebrities and their unknown relatives this week.
Produced by Jamie Foxx, We Are Family is a game show that came out earlier in 2024 and involves almost 100 different contestants who participate in two rounds. They will be shown all kinds of hints and performances by a relative of a secret celeb. After each round of We Are Family, the contestants try to guess who they could be related to.
Once the two solo song performances are complete, Anthony would then let the secret celeb perform with their relative, giving the contestants a chance to guess the celeb based on their voice too.
The ones who manage to guess the actress/singer/TV presenter correctly in a short amount of time will be given a cash prize that they can divide amongst themselves. Each episode of We Are Family has three celeb reveals, so if a contestant guesses all three correctly, they could be taking home almost $150,000.
Recap
Anthony Anderson starts the night by calling the first relative, Kenzie to the stage. With everything being a clue, the contestants almost immediately try to guess who she could be related to. Kenzie reveals that she is s full-time worship leader at the church and rescues donkeys on the side. Mama asks Kenzie if her relative is a part of reruns, and she says yes.
The performance begins and Anthony informs the contestants that guessing now would give them $20,000 that they could split between themselves. To win this money, the contestants would have to guess the famous relative correctly and also be the first one to lock in that answer.
Kenzie begins singing the song Un-break My Heart by Toni Braxton, a popular singer from the 90s. The contestants struggle to guess who she is, as a wrong answer would mean they’d lose the hefty cash prize and someone else would get it. Kenzie sings Tonic’s iconic song perfectly, making the contestants think that she could be the relative of a popular singer/music artist.
Anthony asks the contestants their guesses and then asks Kenzie where she learned to sing. Kenzie lets everyone know that she has been doing workshops and music for almost 2 decades now, so singing comes naturally. Kenzie then sings a duet along with her secret celeb relative behind the stage.
As they sing, all kinds of hints start appearing behind Kenzie, giving the contestants a chance to correctly guess who this mystery person is. The celebrity turns out to be Candace Cameron Bure. The next two celebrity relatives that perform are Tyler Suddeth and Shaina Farrow, who turn out to be related to Lauren Alaina and Jay Pharoah.

Anthony will be welcoming three new exciting celebrity relatives and will let them perform iconic hit songs that could help the contestants guess who their mystery relative is. While the mystery celebrities are a top secret before the episode is out, judging by the contestants’ reactions, these could be very popular people from Hollywood, the television industry, or the music world.

We are Family Episode 4 will be coming out on January 17th, 2024. Fresh episodes of We Are Family are usually released on Wednesdays, with each episode lasting for a total of 42 to 43 minutes.
FOX takes up the airing of We Are Family’s entertaining episodes, with new ones coming out at 9:00 PM ET & 8:00 PM CT for viewers from the US. Besides FOX and its website, We Are Family 2024 is also available to watch on YouTube TV, but only in limited regions.
