Wanted: The Escape Of Carlos Ghosn Episodes Preview
One of the most respected leaders in the world, Carlos Ghosn, saw how life changes within a fraction of a second. The trailer creates suspense by asking whether he is a villain or a victim. Ghosn reportedly got arrested in November 2018 in Japan over false accounting. He got accused of misusing the company’s assets for personal requirements. On the other hand, the director and former HR head of Nissan, Greg Kelly, got arrested in the US the same day.
Nissan held an internal inquiry and dismissed Ghosn. The company did not provide more details, but Japanese media highlighted how he used the company’s funds for himself. Nissan took control over some of his property, putting his family in trouble.
Reportedly, Ghosn made more secret transactions in the name of Nissan. Thus, his stay at the Japanese Detention Center increased. Meanwhile, his wife, Carole, requested Human Rights Watch to save Ghosn from the treatment provided at the detention center.
Kelly, who was not involved in it released on bail. Ghosn finally got bail in 2019 but had to stay under the sight of the camera every second at a given address. He could not travel or use the internet during that period.
Carlos Ghosn’s Escape
Ghosn got bail and again went through allegations, charges, bans, and arrests. According to several media outlets released in December 2019, he escaped Japan and went to Lebanon. Japanese officials did not follow him into the hotel in Japan.
So, Ghosn hid in an audio equipment box taken out by two men involved in his plan from the hotel. They also carried other large containers. The equipment box did not get X-rayed by the customs officials at the airport as it was too large to get into the X-ray machine. Moreover, an employee at MNG Jet entered false records for the escape.
The first episode of Wanted: The Escape Of Carlos Ghosn will show how Carlos Ghosn got successful in the corporate world and was arrested. A possible conspiracy will come out in the second episode. It will also show how Ghosn got into the hands of the Japanese legal system and how the war got bigger.
The third episode will focus on the series of arrests and how Ghosn escaped the country. The finale episode of the four-part series will explain the aftereffects of his escape with old secrets getting revealed.
