The show serves in the form of a reboot of the 90s drama show called Walker, Texas Ranger. Jared Padalecki serves in the titular role of the series. In the lead, we see Cordell Walker, who is a Texas Ranger and has built a name for himself through the years. They are dealing with the recent traumatic events of being kidnapped and tortured a little differently from each other and have obviously not addressed them yet. In the wake of events, Liam decides to start therapy. He goes through a whole program that asks him to spend more time with the horses and ride them in order to recover from the trauma at his own pace.

Now Walker is back with his clan and taking his old duties appropriately. Trey Barnett has joined the force of Texas Rangers now. Captain Larry James gives them an assignment of a new case. It is regarding the serial horse thieves in the ranches. Whoever it is, they are challenging the authority with their crime and thus are releasing the stolen horses in the wild.
Trey goes over to the most recent location where this heist has taken place. He tries to talk to the FBI, but they refuse to cooperate with his operation. But later, Trey is finally able to get all the evidence that is necessary for his investigation from the FBI. He thus gets down to chasing the thieves as they are planning for their next surge.
After a lot of chasing, which he had to do after one of the thieves made a run for it, Trey is finally able to arrest the culprits. Captain James denied Trau to make an arrest, but despite those orders, he did make one. His superiors welcomed him back to the Texas Rangers after solving this mission and helping the locals.
