Viola Tames The Duke Chapter 27 opens up with Ivan blushing after Viola tells everyone that he’s impotent, which is not something you would expect to make someone blush. The reason for Ivan’s blushing is he’s happy that Viola is trying to keep other women away from him, and also, he doesn’t care what others think about him because Viola knows who he truly is.

Viola gets rather uncomfortable by Ivan’s carefree nature, and so he warns that people would make fun of him now. Ivan laughs and replies that he will get married to Viola soon enough, and so after that happens, he will prove to everyone that he’s not impotent.
Ivan thanks Viola for spreading these rumors because now he can solely focus on her without being wary of other women. Viola puts her hand on Ivan’s head to check if he’s sick because it’s hard to believe he’d say such things with a sound mind. She then tells Ivan that she only did all this because she was grateful for his help earlier.
Ivan holds Viola’s hand and says that a pat on the head isn’t enough as a reward. Viola is shocked by this sudden request, but she still accepts it because she has been prepared for a long time. With curiosity filling her eyes, Viola asks Ivan what he wants to do, but Ivan just requests her to pat his head more.
Viola gets embarrassed because she has some weird thoughts about the request. Ivan notices Viola’s reaction and bursts out laughing. He leans closer to Viola and calls her a lady pervert, which makes Viola even more embarrassed.
Viola tries to justify her embarrassment by saying that she has been holding back since the day Ivan slept at the Manor. Ivan also says that he had a hard time holding back, too, and that he doesn’t know what would have happened if he failed to do so.
Ivan touches Viola’s head and says that he will become a part of her life, but it won’t happen too quickly or too slowly. Viola gets rather depressed and slowly whispers that Ivan can rush a little if he wants. Ivan hugs Viola and tells her that there are a lot of things that he wants to do with her so that he will do everything one by one.
Ivan tells Viola that he wants a lot of things, but right now, he’ll be satisfied with only a pat on the head. Some time goes by, and the rumors about Duke Dephola start to spread just as Ivan and Viola intended.
Viola’s mother asks Viola about the rumors, and Viola hides the truth from her mother, too, but as it is always said, a mother is always ahead of her child. Viola’s mother says that she heard everything as she was nearby when Viola and Ivan were chatting. Viola finds it hard to believe that her mother accidentally heard her.
Jenna arrives in the room with a letter for Viola. Viola opens the letter and finds an invitation to the Imperial tea party. Viola looks at the letter and wonders what she did wrong. She decides to start an investigation to find out why she is being called by the palace.
Later that day, Viola meets Robina during a tea party with her friends. Viola’s friends try to discuss the rumors, but Viola herself decides to discuss the issue. Viola says that it’s true that she copied Robina’s art because she was envious of her.
Viola then apologizes for hiding the truth from Robina, but Robina says that there’s no need for it. Tears roll down Robina and Viola’s eyes, and they both reconcile with each other.
Viola’s friends say that both Robina and Viola have received an invitation from the Imperial palace, which might mean that the crown prince is searching for a painting to give his wife. Viola hears this statement and gets shocked, as it would be a problem if her painting got chosen.
