Villains of Valley View’s sophomore season is well on its way, and it’s been fun, from funny comedic superhero tropes with pop culture references to some strong character development stories in this show, half an hour sitcom format that tells the double lives of a family, the Maddens as they navigate superhero life and regular quotidian life at your typical suburbia town.
This last episode was full of those things, with Amy and Jake infiltrating a villain’s lair, only to find out that Colby followed them despite them telling the renegade superhero not to. As we’ll see, there will be some confrontations with Blue Granite, but can our heroes end up on the winning side this time?
Villains of Valley View Season 2 Episode 10 Recap
This episode was an adventure for Jake, Colby, and Amy, who had the plan to sneak into Blue Granite’s superhero lair in search of the silver flame. But they discover a few things: Firstly, Blue Granite’s lair isn’t some dark, basement dweller, messy hideout. Instead, it looks like a posh bachelor’s pad with designer furniture, lamps, and nice interior decoration, not bad for a villain, and definitely not as tasteless as Blue Granite the villain is.
In any case, as they venture into Blue Granite’s lair, they are discovered by Blue Granite (played by Derek Theler), and things go south for them. When confronted, Blue Granite wants to be called “The Chosen One”, and that leaves for very funny dialogue because Jake and Amy aren’t sure how to address that clown.
But as it turns out, it was Colby, pretending to be Blue Granite. He demands that the two of them “respect the hoodie”, and since Jake and Colby have no idea as to where to search within the confines of that villain’s lair, Colby pulls out a YouTube video from a reality show that has Blue Granite telling just that. A confrontation ensues with some dramatic dialogues, only to have our heroes end up with the prized possession and humiliated Blue Granite in his cave.
