Ziya and Seher were happy about their grandchild, but in an unfortunate accident, Asli lost the baby. Alanur made her final move, revealing the identity of the person behind the letter to Ziya.
Veda Mektubu is a romantic thriller Turkish drama that started on February 27, 2023. The story revolves around Asli Yiliz and Mehmet Karli and their parents. Years ago, Alanur and Ziya were in a relationship and about to get married. A letter ended their romance and caused them to separate. After thirty years, they meet again, but as in-laws, as their children are in love. Asli, Alanur’s daughter, married Mehmet, Ziya’s son.
Fate played a cruel game for Alanur and Ziya. Their affair is causing problems in the life of Asli and Mehmet. Hatice joined hands with Alanur to torture Seher. Alanur isn’t giving up on keeping Ziya by her side.

Ziya had a heart attack which created tension in the Karli family. Asli knew about the affair but still wanted to stay with Mehmet. Mehmet was trying to recall what his father wanted to speak to him. He was rude towards Asli as he was disturbed. Ziya’s wife, Seher, came to be with him and care for him. Alanur came before Seher. Both were concerned about the recovery of Ziya from the heart attack.
Mehmet and Asli were going through a tough time and wanted to live separately for some time. They understand their feelings for one another and decide to work along to solve their problems. Their unborn child’s heartbeat was a beautiful moment for Asli and Mehemet. It made their bond stronger. Mehmet is still recalling what his father wanted to confer.
Hatice visited Mehmet and revealed his father’s affair with Asli’s mother. Mehmet was shocked. Asli wanted to talk to him but refused to listen in anger. She admits that she knew about it earlier and discussed it with Ziya. He decided to speak with Mehmet about his affair. Mehmet got furious for hiding this truth from him all this time. He leaves Asli alone in the house.
Mehmet wished to confront his father, but he couldn’t do so because his father had recently recovered from a heart attack. He called his mother, Seher, to send his younger sister, Mina, to be with Asli after her school. He feels worried and pitied about his mother. Ziya and Alanur can’t seem to keep away from each other.
Asli is working on saving her marriage from breaking due to the conflicts. While she was going to meet Mehmet, she met with an accident that brought another misfortune into her life. She was in the hospital and inquired about her baby’s condition as soon as she regained consciousness. Mehmet suspects the accident was as simple as it seems and starts finding out about it. With the help of the police, Mehmet locates the owner of the car, Hakan.
Alanur, Beste, Seher, and Mina all are with Asli and standing by her side. She keeps asking about her baby, but no one is ready to disclose the bad news. After seeing Asli’s distress, they couldn’t hide it. She had a miscarriage due to the accident. She wanted to go back home after receiving the news. Both Asli and Mehmet’s families were present to share their children’s grief. Asli and Mehmet took time off to forget the event.
