The American series Vampire Academy is curated with fantasy, horror, and supernatural elements. It is the adaptation of the novel “Vampire Academy” written by Richelle Mead. There is another adaptation of the same novel, which is a film with the same name, released in 2014.
The fantasy series was produced by Cory Kaplan and Jose Luis Escolar. Though it originated in the United States, the filming took place in areas of Spain and Portugal. Since its premiere on 15th September, the show has had nothing but positive reviews.
Certain characters from the book are portrayed in the series, but some are re-imagined versions of the already existing characters. It is set around the protagonist Rose Hathaway, a Dhampir training guardian, and a Moroi princess named Lissa Dragomir. They are staying in the boarding school of St. Vladimir’s Academy, where the series begins. Vampire Academy lets us walk alongside the best friends Lissa, played by Daniela Nieves, and Rose, played by Sisi Stringer, as they go on with their life’s adventures.

Vampire Academy Episode 6 Recap
Episode 6 has shown Rose visiting Mikhail’s family as Lissa is trying to know more about her spirit element. The episode opens with a new motion that includes removing Guardians from the non-royal Moroi. This action is required for the royals to get more protection. However, non-royal are being forced out of place to ensure their protection as well. Rose learns that this new motion is also taking place in the village where Mikhail was born, which makes her duty-bound to protect the villagers.
On the other hand, Sasha, a Guardian, and Mikhail’s sister are trying to stay as close to her father since it is inevitable that he is about to die soon. Sasha is also paranoid and blames the council for her brother Mikhail’s death. Rose is guilt-stricken, but Mikhail’s father reassures her that she did no wrong in killing him since he turned Strigoi.
At the beginning of the episode, Rose runs away from the tattoo parlor. But later in the same episode, she gets a Strigoi tattoo from Dimitri, and the two end up kissing.
On Lissa’s end, she is trying to meet the royal Moroi. The Royal Moroi, Adrian Ivashkov, is known to have very rare artifacts which will help Lissa to know more about her Spirit element. After attending a ball with her fiance Jesse Zeklos in the hope of meeting Adrian, she realizes that it’s all in vain.
Afterward, Lissa gets invited to Adrian’s private party, where she falls asleep. With his power, Adrian manages to get into her dreams to tell her that he knows why she is here and what she is looking for. Adrian offers Lissa an adventure and informs her that he might be able to give her some new information if she agrees.
Nothing too important happened in the last episode except Lissa finally getting the ticket to more knowledge and the death of Mikhail’s father. Given that this is a teen drama series, there will not be many intense scenes. Yet, there are a lot of questions left unanswered. Hopefully, the next episode will help unfold more mysteries.
