Netflix has been releasing new seasons of documentary films set in different fields of sports, all covered under the show titled, Untold. Each new season or as the makers call it, each ‘volume’ has different episodes shot in documentary style exploring unique and never-heard-before sports stories. The first film of the third volume of this show, Untold, will open with the story of popular YouTuber Jake Paul, who rose to fame because of the platform while he was still relatively young and has been infamously known by many due to his countless controversies with others on the platform.
The first episode will cover how the young YouTuber went from being a YouTube star to one of the most controversial people in the sports industry. His existence in the boxing industry is either loved or absolutely hated by those around him, and we get an insight into his entry into the sport.
The film will show us how the Paul brothers built their YouTube community in early 2016, which is when they rose to popularity through prank videos, all of which involved ruthless yet visibly planned pranks, how the two brothers got into a serious controversy that could have potentially ruined their careers and tainted their reputation forever.
Obviously, the film will also cover all that led up to Jake Paul’s entry into boxing for the first time, followed by his leaving only to announce that he would be making a comeback to boxing again.
