Fans of superhero fiction, coming-of-age, and comedy, all now have a common cause to rejoice with the premiere of the debut season of Disney’s Ultra Violet & Black Scorpion on June 3, 2022, where their interests happen to converge in the most ideal of ways. Although the series was only announced on April 28, 2022, after which it kicked off on Disney Channel on the mentioned date, the first ten episodes from Season 1 of the television series came out at once together on June 8, 2022, on Disney+.
As of the present moment, Ultra Violet & Black Scorpion is well into its first season, as fourteen episodes from the same have already aired. In fact, Episode 14 came out just the previous week on Friday, October 28, 2022, and it is officially entitled “Luis León Won’t Go Home”. In the episode, we saw Violet attempting to relax as part of her plans for the weekend. Unfortunately, though, her aspirations as such were ruined when Luis León randomly pulled up to her house literally out of nowhere.
He then goes on to tell Maya and Violet that he was close to finding out the real identity of Ultra Violet by using the social media posts of the superhero to reveal where she lived. As it would go, Violet had gotten paranoid when he arrived, thinking that he might be looking for clues to confirm that it was her.

She then tried to leave subtle hints for Luis to leave, but not only did he refuse to do so, but also, her began bonding with Santiago and her parents. Violet subsequently exploded, unable to deal with the stress of it all, and outright asked Luis to leave. However, Juan and Nina helped her understand that Luis was persistent on staying because, unlike herself, he did not have the privilege of having a family. Violet was consequently wiser and apologized to him before inviting him back into her home.
In the meantime, Cruz was worried that Catalina might have inherited all the bad characteristics that he hated about Cascada. But seeing the latter help a needy thief by offering him money, he understands her better. However, they ultimately broke up over a disagreement over if stealing is justified by being in need. In Episode 14 of the debut season of Ultra Violet & Black Scorpion, Lorena Jorge makes a guest appearance as Catalina Rivera, aka Cascada.

The episode which is due to come out this week would be the fifteenth of the first season of Ultra Violet & Black Scorpion, and in the episode, we will see Violet getting embarrassed by the look of the cape donned by Black Scorpion.
The cape starts to interrupt them fighting crime as it gets caught and makes them fall in the middle of a fight. As such, Violet faces up to Cruz about it and accidentally ends up tearing it apart, which makes Cruz very upset. He confronts her, telling her that the whole thing might seem ridiculous to her but not to him.
To him, the cape was important as it reminded him of his days as a wrestler prior to the mask messing everything up. Furthermore, he confides in her about him and Catalina parting ways saying that he needs to reconnect with his old self again.
Violet feels guilty and goes on to get him a new and improved cape and even gets one for herself. This makes the city divided about if superheroes should don capes at all. Initially, Luis is not a big fan of it but changes his mind after Santiago makes him one.
Meanwhile, Nina attempts to get both Catalina and Cruz to confide in her about their ending things. They bear no fruit whatsoever. Episode 15 is the penultimate episode of the action fiction’s debut season. The official episode title for it is “Cape Night”, which also features Lorena Jorge as Catalina Rivera/ Cascada.
In next week’s episode, we will see Ultra Violet learning that Black Scorpion has been committing crimes in the city when a video on camera of him stealing equipment surfaces. However, when she questions him about him, he denies saying that he does not remember doing such a thing.
As such, Violet teams up with Maya to go undercover, only to realize that Black Scorpion’s mind is being controlled by Hypnotico, a masked antagonist who seeks to utilize the equipment stolen by Cruz to bring the entire town under his control.
Violet cannot stop him alone, and so enlists the help of Cascada and Duplico. However, Black Scorpion defeats them all. She is then left with no other choice but to reveal her identity by unmasking herself to help him break free, reminding him that he is her beloved uncle.
As a consequence, however, Cascada learns the real identities of the Black Scorpion and Ultra Violet. Hypnotico is no match for Black Scorpion, who is now free from him and easily defeats him. Elsewhere, with his sister’s support and encouragement, Santiago gathers the courage to tell his parents that he wants to pursue fashion designing.
At first, his mother, Nina is completely against it but his father, Juan, makes her see sense and convinces her that their son should follow his passion. The season ends on a major cliffhanger with Tiago finding the mask of Ultra Violet in Violet’s wardrobe and urging her to wear it.
Episode 16 is officially entitled “Ultra Violet vs. Black Scorpion.” Apart from Lorena Jorge as Catalina Rivera / Cascada, Jonathan Medina makes a guest appearance as Hypnotico, alongside Jaylen Moore as Duplico.
