The upcoming season of “The Escape of the Seven” offers a sneak peek into Uhm Ki Joon’s iconic villain character. Season 2 of the 2023 hit drama “The Escape of the Seven,” which narrated a revenge story about a man aspiring to be the king of a castle built on fake news, is titled “The Escape of the Seven: Resurrection.”
This season will portray the counterattack of seven individuals who have returned from hell against the new evil that aligns with Matthew Lee, played by Uhm Ki Joon. Alongside the returning cast, CNBLUE’s Lee Jung Shin joins the ensemble for Season 2.
Uhm Ki Joon reprises his role as Matthew Lee, the CEO of Korea’s largest mobile platform company. In the recently released stills, Matthew Lee exudes confidence and pride like never before. Deceiving everyone as Lee Hwi So, he appears poised and self-assured, holding a world where lies reign as truths in the palm of his hand.
With a confident stance, he confronts his adversary with a sinister gaze and a hint of a smirk, suggesting a brewing storm of schemes. Another still captures him in what seems to be a clandestine basement, adding to the anticipation of the nefarious plots he is orchestrating.
