Tyler Childers and his band called the Food Stamps, will start traveling on the “Mule Pull 24 Tour” in the spring of next year.
The journey in North America will begin on April 6 at the Viejas Arena in San Diego and will finish with a major concert on May 29 at Madison Square Garden in New York City. During the tour, Tyler Childers will have different artists joining him on specific dates.
The tour news comes a few days before Tyler Childers releases his new album, “Rustin’ in the Rain,” which will be out this Friday, September 8.
This album includes guest appearances by artists like Margo Price, S.G. Goodman, Erin Rae, and the Travelin’ McCourys. Even though “Rustin’ in the Rain” only has seven songs, it follows Tyler Childers’ triple album from 2022, “Can I Take My Hounds to Heaven?”
In a recent interview with The New York Times, Childers mentioned that he is reducing the number of songs on his albums, so it is likely that his next album will have only about six songs.

More about Tyle Childers’ upcoming album and concert
The 2024 Mule Pull tour is being organized to promote Tyle Childers’ highly anticipated new album, “Rustin’ in the Rain,” which is coming out this Friday, September 8.
Fans are probably looking forward to hearing which songs from the new album Tyler will perform during his concerts. It is likely that he will often sing the first single, “In Your Love,” as well as songs like “Space and Time” and “Percheron Mules” from the album.
“Rustin’ in the Rain” has Tyler Childers’ latest song, “In Your Love”. In July, Childers released the music video for this song. It tells the story of a romantic relationship between two male coal miners in the 1950s in the Appalachian region.
The idea for this video was created by Silas House, who is the Poet Laureate of Kentucky. He talked to Rolling Stone about how he came up with the story for the video and how it was a groundbreaking and unique narrative.
[Childers] mentioned that he wanted the story to be about a gay love relationship because his first cousin, who is like a brother to him, is gay. He wanted his cousin to see someone like himself in a country music video, House explained.
House further revealed that when Childers said that, he realized that many others have also never seen people like themselves in country music videos. Having this kind of representation would be quite amazing.
