After accomplishing 40 successful “READY TO BE” shows in 2023, TWICE took a brief holiday hiatus and resumed touring with two sold-out performances at Foro Sol stadium in Mexico City, Mexico.
Making a grand comeback, TWICE reintroduced captivating solo stages and entertaining unit performances. The highlight was the debut performance of their latest single, “I Got You,” showcasing their close-knit group bond.
From TWICE’s first two sold-out shows of 2024, numerous unforgettable moments went viral. However, one particular viral instance that member Dahyun wanted to clarify involved long strings of confetti falling from the stage, unexpectedly wrapping around the members as they continued their performance.
The jumbo screens behind them broadcasted the on-stage action, offering fans in the stadium a close-up view. A swift camera change created a momentary illusion, making it appear as if TWICE’s Dahyun was unintentionally pulling on a string of confetti wrapped around Mina’s neck.
As netizens shared their reactions to the video, Dahyun addressed the situation on the popular artist-to-fan communication app Bubble, emphasizing that she was not responsible for the confetti incident.
In a humorous twist, Dahyun playfully attributed the confetti incident to Momo, revealing that the camera change had mistakenly implicated her. A complete video of the moment unveiled confetti wrapped around Momo’s waist, with the ends extending to Mina, unbeknownst to either member as they walked.
