He is one of the split personalities Ai Coleman, and he is also the founder of the Cross Eyes gang. Kai looks more like Aikawa, but you would differentiate them with Kai having dark cross-shaped marks over his eyes which would be mistaken as a birthmark. Shin
Shin has a strange magical ability that allows him to cut people without killing them. He is an elite magic user as well and also a long-time friend of Noi. With his magic, he can slice up almost anything, and the upside to this is that when he uses it on humans, then he doesn’t have to worry about them bleeding out. But this ability lasts only as long as he is alive. So if he has sliced up a victim and ends up dying. Then they would immediately suffer the effects of their wounds.
Shin can also project his smoke to a point where it can stop the gunfire. This leads to bullets shattering upon impact with his smoke, and since he was born, he has had difficulties in using his magic at will. As Kaiman’s companion, Nikaido hunts magic users together with him. She owns a restaurant known as the Hungry Bug in the Hole. Despite being on the hunt for magic users, she is secretly a magic-user herself and has an athletic build. She has a tragic past where she feels guilty for her sister’s death and has tried many times to use her magic to unsuccessfully change what has happened. When she was young, she easily defeated a group of magic users who wanted to kidnap Kawajiri with ease.

She would later meet Asu, who has helped her to come up with the resolution to go and live in Hole as she never wanted to use her magic again due to what happened with her sister in the past. In the present day, she patrols the Hole and has appeared fighting Fujita while Kaiman was interrogating Matsumura. This is where she has shown her combat abilities and why she is regarded as one of the strongest characters in Dorohedoro.
Aikawa
Aikawa would usually wear a black gas mask covering his entire face. He has the same personality as Kaiman as he is arrogant and lazy. In his actual appearance with his mask off. He would wear a metal baseball cap backward. He has spiky hair and wears a hoodie, white pants, and his combat boots. He used to live as a third rank magic-user, and his smoke magic was not as effective.
He then went to the South Zagan Magical Training School, where he learned how to use his magic and managed to produce more smoke. This is where he met Ritsu and ended up teaming with him when they wanted to get rid of an abusive teacher. After this, they developed a strong bond and ended up as close friends. His lazy stature is what gets him in trouble most of the time, like when he went to sleep for a whole month and woke up being teleported to Abaddon only to find out that Nikaido was in trouble and the En family was exterminated while he sleeps.
Dokuga
Dokuga is the right-hand man of The Cross Eye’s boss, and he currently leads the gang in the absence of Kai. Possessing no magic of his own, he has the lasting effects of other people’s magic. His saliva is poisonous and acts more like a curse as it is always doing more damage than good. Due to this, he can not sit with his friends at dinner, fearing that he might end up poisoning them by accident.
This is also the reason why he would appear uncaring and cold. It is dangerous to be around him whenever he is laughing or talking. So to keep his friends safe, he decides not to show any emotions. His deadly venom can be used effectively in combat, and it can even blind enemies, and if ingested,d it can kill them on the spot. He sometimes uses his poison to make money by selling it as an insecticide. This seems to be all that he is capable of, so Dokuga does not really have the magic of his own.
