I can’t speak for everyone, but this concept had a significant impact on me.
There are, however, anime characters capable of defeating even the mighty Thanos. This list is intended for amusement purposes only, and you may disagree with some of its contents on it. So, here are the top ten anime characters that can defeat the Mad Titan Thanos.
10. Saitama
Starting with an obvious choice, Saitama has a good chance of defeating Thanos. Saitama is known as a hero for fun. He possesses incredible strength, which he acquired after three years of intense training that resulted in hair loss. Saitama possesses such incredible strength that he can defeat his opponents with a single punch. Thanos would have no chance in a fight with him. He has incredible speed to go along with his incredible strength. He is so powerful that he once jumped from the Moon to Earth. Even if Thanos had his gauntlet, he wouldn’t be able to defeat him because Saitama would punch Thanos before he could even touch him. Defeating Thanos would not be a problem for him.
9. Beerus
In the Dragon Ball universe, Beerus is the God of Destruction. Beerus, unlike Thanos, would not require the infinity stones or the gauntlet to wipe out billions of people. He could easily destroy a planet with just a flick of his finger. He also has the ability to teleport, unimaginable strength, unimaginable speed, and a variety of other abilities. Beerus occasionally awakens from his slumber after decades, if not years, to wipe planets out of boredom. Thanos would be unable to even touch him. Even with his gauntlet and the six infinity stones, this anime character would have no trouble defeating Thanos. It is not even fair to compare these two fictional characters.
8. Gojo Satoru
Gojo Satoru is the Jujutsu Kaisen’s most powerful sorcerer. When the anime first aired, he quickly became known as one of the strongest and most attractive characters in the anime universe, with legendary blue eyes. Gojo has mastered the Infinity cursed technique in Jujutsu Kaisen. This cursed technique allows him to create an infinite number of layers of space around him. This ability renders anything in his immediate area impenetrable to touch. He can also teleport, has great strength, and has a wide range of overpowered curse techniques.
Thanos is a character who specializes in combat strategy. Thanos wouldn’t be able to touch the sorcerer with Gojo’s infinity-cursed techniques. It would be impossible for Thanos to even touch him, let alone lay a punch. Thanos would be trapped in an endless void of space, time, and thought if Gojo’s infinite void domain ability was used.
7. Toyohiro Kanedaichi
Under one condition, this intriguing anime character will be able to beat Thanos. Toyohiro Kanedaichi appears as a minor adversary in Jojo’s Bizzare Adventure: Diamond is Unbreakable. If you’ve watched any of Jojo’s Bizzare Adventure series, you’ll know that the characters in this series have a power called Stand. It is essentially a physical manifestation of their vital force. Super Fly is Toyohiro’s Stand, and it is an electricity transmission tower.
The condition of the Stand is that one person should constantly be atop the transmission tower. If a person tries to exit the tower without putting another person in it, they will be transformed into metal. If Toyohiro Kanedaichi was able to bring Thanos under the tower, he would be able to confine him in the tower, and any effort to escape would convert Thanos into metal.
6. Itachi Uchiha
Whether you’re an anime lover or not, you’ve probably heard of the iconic character Itachi Uchiha. The man who slaughtered his whole tribe, including his parents, in a single night. The Uchihas are well-known for their Sharangin skills. Itachi Uchiha is the best of the Uchihas when it comes to using his gift smoothly. Itachi is an expert in genjutsu. It is the power to place someone in a different condition or, in other words, manipulate their mind. He could put someone in genjutsu just by gazing at them in the eyes or even pointing at them.
Itachi also employs a method known as Izanami. It allows Itachi to trap his opponent in an infinite cycle that cannot be broken unless and until the opponent realizes their mistake. Thanos would be unable to even touch Itachi if he possessed the aforementioned talents. It’s all over for Thanos once Itachi matches his gaze.
5. Zeno
In the Dragon Ball Super world, Zeno is the all-powerful entity. This adorable creature exists on a multiverse level and watches over the entire cosmos. Zeno has the power to reverse anything. He is also capable of erasing anything. Out of boredom, he organized a Multiverse Battle in Dragon Ball Super. He wiped out six universes out of eighteen simply because he felt like it, and he did it without breaking a sweat. Thanos had to go through so many trials to obtain the infinity stones, and his wish nearly killed him. Zeno would be able to reverse all Thanos desired and did, and he would be able to erase Thanos without even touching him.
4. Saiki Kusuo
The anime universe’s most powerful psychic. With superhuman skills like telekinesis, telepathy, flying, invisibility, invincibility, time manipulation, clairvoyance, x-ray vision, and teleportation, I’m confident this anime character can easily defeat Thanos at his peak. Wanda’s ability to handle Thanos on her own was demonstrated in the Endgame film. Saiki Kusuo is ten times stronger than Wanda, and he could easily defeat Thanos without breaking a sweat. If something goes wrong, he can travel back in time and fix it right away, unlike the Avengers, who had to put in a lot of work in the Avengers: Endgame.
3. Lelouch
Lelouch, in contrast to the fighting and god-level characters, is a strategist character. Furthermore, he possesses the Geass ability, which allows him to command his opponent at will once they stare into his eyes. Lelouch in a fight with Thanos, it’s like battling a baby to Thanos. He does, however, have the intellect to outwit Thanos. With his Geass, he could simply ask Thanos to give him the gauntlet. Or even persuade Thanos to wish himself out of existence. His intellect, along with the Geass ability, may persuade Thanos to be his servant because he is practically unstoppable, holding enough power to subjugate the Mad Titan to his will.
2. Haruhi Suzumiya
Here’s an anime character you probably didn’t realize could defeat Thanos at his finest. Despite her appearance as a high school student, Haruhi Suzumiya from The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya is a god-level entity. This main character is later revealed to be the creator of the universe in which she lives. Everything in the anime began with her being bored and wanting to amuse herself. Overall, this seemingly average high-school girl has the ability to bend and change all of creation to her favor at any time. It would be a farce if these two got into a fight.

At the last of the list, I’m sure you have heard of Doraemon. A robot from the 22nd century, in fact. With a fourth-dimensional pocket attached to his stomach, he is an anime character that can easily defeat Thanos. Don’t believe me? Here are some of the Gadgets that he can use to defeat Thanos. Telephone booth is a gadget that allows the user to alter reality. Protective Sheild is a type of shield which is impossible to penetrate. A stopwatch that allows him to stop everything around him but himself. A time travel machine that allows him to travel in any era. These are only examples of a few of his gadgets. With more mind-blowing objects, he can easily show Thanos a run for his money.
