In the previous chapter, Nasa tells Tsukasa that he has already shared his thoughts with her and will keep reading. Tsukasa gets surprised by his response since she did not expect him to be happy about out, let alone cry over it. He asks her if she is noticing, and Tsukasa, of course, has been noticing it all along.
Tsukasa shares that she had seen a pattern it was especially true with Tokiko back when she lived with her. But for some reason, all the smart kids get mad at her quickly. Eventually, they come up to Tsukasa and tell her to get her act together. When she first met Tokiko, she always asked her about Tsukasa’s opinion, but that changed with them when they grew up, and it turned into Tokiko advising her that she should act and all.
Tsukasa then accepts that Nasa is smart enough to see through all the mistakes she makes, yet despite that, he never says anything like that to her and pretends not to see it at all.
