In the previous Chapter of Tondemo Skill de Isekai Hourou, Mukouda borrows a ship from the adventure guild, but as soon as the familiar wolf steps into it, the ship’s bottom breaks, and a huge hole appears. Mukouda cannot borrow a boat from anyone else and has to wait until the ship has been repaired to go catch the Kraken. Suddenly, Mukouda sees a floating ball and gets a genius idea. He increases the size of the ball, and they sail on it to the Kraken’s location along with two of his familiars.

They spot the Kraken, but they soon realize that a Sea Serpent is trying to fight with it. Mukouda remembers that villagers have been complaining about a Sea Serpent, but he is shocked to see the two monsters fight each other. Mukouda’s familiar shocks them with electricity, and they both immediately die. Just as they are getting happy, a giant fish comes and swallows the monsters, which agitates Mukouda. He jumps at the fish and beats it up till it throws Kraken and Sea Serpent back up.

Mukuoda goes back and informs the adventure guild’s Captain about the Kraken. They realize that the other fish were drawn to the Kraken, which made their population rise in numbers. The Captain gets super excited at the prospect of eating Kraken delicacies, and they all rush to retrieve the corpses. Everyone is hyped for the delicious meal, and Mukouda starts cutting the Kraken apart as soon as it arrives. He slices the meat and begins grilling it with his fire powers to prepare a dish out of it.
