Tomodachi Game Chapter 113: Release Date, Preview & Where To Read

As the title suggests, ‘Tomodachi Game’ is a manga where a bunch of students play a ‘friendship game’: a series of games that will test the strength of their born and trust in each other.

Yuuichi Katagiri, a boy, is the series’ main character. Despite his lifelong struggles with money, he has learned to be content and optimistic with the help of his close group of friends.

Yuuichi saves enough cash to travel with them on the school excursion in order to fulfill a promise he made to them. However, two of Yuuichi’s buddies, Shiho Sawaragi and Makoto Shibe, who was in charge of collecting the payments, come under suspicion when the amassed cash unexpectedly vanishes.

When no one else steps forward, Shiho and Makoto, who are both innocent, accept responsibility for the failure to protect the money.

A few days later, suspicious letters are sent to Yuuichi and his buddies, tricking them into meeting. They are attacked and rendered unconscious as they arrive.

They find themselves in the company of “Manabu-kun,” a figure from a contentious children’s program that was canceled because of its depraved nature, as they awaken in a mysterious room.

The group’s faith begins to wane as a result of the increasing number of secrets and betrayals, and Yuuichi must decide which of his “friends” he can genuinely rely on in order to find out who the traitor is.

Previously in Chapter 112 of Tomodachi Game, we saw that the victor was decided, or so it seemed that Katagiri Yuuichi would not be the one who would win this game.

According to the game rules and regulations, whoever gets the most votes at the end will be the winner of this ‘Friend-less Game’. Though Yuuichi has the skill to control people as he likes, none of the reputations is necessary to garner votes.

The game begins, and they start interrogating each other while seeing whom to believe. Yuuichi sticks to his words and continues to argue, saying the murderer is Shiba Shinji. As it is difficult for others to believe, he states the reasons why he believes so.

Haragawa Sora gets asked why would somebody who is not his ally not know the reason why he followed Yuuichi’s instructions. She says that she doesn’t want to answer such questions and that she’d rather stay quiet.

This is when Yutori’s arrogant side comes out. When Sora tells her that she can not possibly trust a single word that escapes her lips, Yutori tells her that she does not care and that without her shining knight’s armor, she is just a nobody and the bottom feeder of this group.

Things get messy and steamy. Now everyone is suspicious of the other person. Nobody knows whom to trust and whom not to. Koko-Rogi San’s mental state starts to teeter on edge.

The most likely explanation now is that Yuuichi staged the whole thing, and the remaining survivor hiding in secret, Kawauchi Tarou, is involved once again. That old man seems to have had a past that was anything but ordinary.

There are some key moments regarding him that, on a closer look, seems to suggest an involvement with Yuuichi, such as his temporary disappearance when Yuuchi burned down the lodge and his treating Araya Nagi’s injuries that Yuuichi probably inflicted.

Since there are only four days left until the end of the ‘Friend-less Game’, Satone says that he’d have liked to be at the place itself for the end. They then decide to talk as friends if they can meet again. It looks like things are going to get rough from now on.
