Tokyo Ghoul re Season 2 Episode 7 was probably one of the most watchable episodes this season, but it wasn’t perfect in any way. I enjoyed most of it, but only when I stop thinking about the manga. This anime adaptation is already terrible, bit we’ve got just a few more episodes, so let’s try to enjoy it the best we can before it ends, even if it is a terrible one.
Before I begin this post, I want to let you all know that it contains a lot of spoilers. If you don’t want to be spoiled, I suggest you stop reading the post here. However, if spoilers don’t bother you, we can get started. The Oggai are running wild in Tokyo now, and they’re killing every Ghoul that they come across. The CCG has turned into a mindless organization, and they cannot be stopped. They’re going to murder every single ghoul that they get their eyes on, and the Oggai are doing Furuta’s work for him.
Tokyo Ghoul re Season 2 Episode 8 Spoilers
As expected, the previous episode was all about Kaneki and Touka. Their relationship has now taken a step in the right direction. After sleeping together, they will now get married, but do it the right way using the Ghoul customs. To get married, Ghouls leave bite marks on the body of the other person. We also see a lot the Ghouls underground, who are starving. Kaneki will launch an operation to get enough food for them all that should last for about 1.5 years.
Also, Touka reveals that’s she’s pregnant. Yoriko, who’s going to be executed, needs saving. Takeomi Kuroiwa talks to Urie and, Saiko and Urie both decide to leave the CCG. Kaneki wants to save Yoriko but is also worried about the safety of his wife. The next episode of Tokyo Ghoul re should be intense, and I’m excited about what’s to come.
