Tokimori-san ga Muboubi desu!! Chapter 27 will continue with Tokimori-san and Sugawa and their stupid yet wholesome encounters as they try to live happily together. The last chapter of the manga saw Tokimori and Sugawa bringing a dog into their house due to Nishi’s accident, which caused a lot of trouble for our two main leads.
Tokimori-san ga Muboubi desu!! Chapter 26 opens up with Sugawa arriving at Tokimori’s house after buying some things. He opens the door and apologizes for arriving late, but he finds Tokimor sitting on the floor with her head down, which makes him nervous. Sugawa looks at Tokimori and wonders if something’s wrong. Tokimori tells Sugawa that they need to talk, and she then explains what happened with Nishi earlier that day.

Tokimori says that she got a call from Nishi a while ago, and she learned that Nishi fell down the stairs and is being diagnosed at the hospital for the time being. Tokimori asks Nishi if she can do anything to help her and so Nishi asks Tokimori for a little favor, and that is to keep her pet for one day. Tokimori then apologizes to Sugawa for agreeing to Nishi’s request without consulting him, Sugawa responds that he doesn’t mind because Nishi was in some serious trouble.
After asking Tokimori if the animal is a cat or a rabbit, Sugawa is startled as a dog unexpectedly emerges from a bag that is lying in the corner. The following day, Tokimori begins caring for the dog named Momo, but Sugawa stays away.
Sugawa answers Tokimori’s question about why he’s acting so distantly by saying that he was bitten by a dog while playing as a child, and that experience still bothers him. Tokimori claims that everything has already happened. Therefore, Sugawa only needs to seize this chance to face his anxieties.
Sugawa watches them from a distance as Tokimori and Momo begin to play catch. After ten minutes, Tokimori passes out from overstretching herself, but the dog keeps wandering.
Sugawa is alerted when The Dog starts jerking on Tokimori’s clothing out of the blue. The dog responds to him when he calls it to leave Tokimori alone. Sugawa is slightly alarmed as the dog approaches him, but his anxiety is much reduced as he sees the dog’s innocent face.
After feeding Momo, Sugawa checks up on Tokimori to find out if she’s doing okay. Tokimori immediately apologizes to Sugawa for making him go through all the trouble, but Sugawa doesn’t consider it a big deal. He recalls how he was able to overcome his fear of dogs in the spur of the moment just because he wanted to help Tokimori. Sugawa wonders if it was because he liked watching Tokimori playing and having fun with Momo.
Sugawa thanks Tokimori for helping him, and then he tries to repeat what he did to call Momo again. He makes a hand gesture to remember how he held Momo’s face back when suddenly Tokimori gets up and places her face between his hands. Sugawa was startled by Tokimori’s action as she came too close to him.
As Sugawa is about to get embarrassed, The Dog bites his hand and helps him snap out of it. Sugawa shouts in pain as if his childhood trauma had returned, and Tokimori helps him calm down.
The Day goes by after this incident, and Nishi also recovers from her injuries. As Nishi didn’t get hurt too badly, she got discharged from the hospital soon, and so Momo was taken back by her without any problems.
