Misaki Shokuhou showcased her power in front of all Tokiwadai students. Watching her control over 2000 people to make an orderly exit so no one could get hurt shocked all the students. All of them got to see the strongest psychological power, mental out. She even ordered every student to rescue the people who were still trapped in the fire.
We got to see the character development of Misaki, as they controlled the whole situation so quickly without getting panicked. I was hoping that we would also get to see Taumo in the chapter as Misaki tried to blow the whistle, but all that was just to tease us.
A new character has also been shown in the chapter by the name of Kobayashi Satori. Chapter 145 was a simple one, and the story has still not taken the pace. Let’s just wait and see what we will have in the next chapter of To Aru Kagaku no Railgun, AKA `A Certain Scientific Railgun.’
To Aru Kagaku No Railgun Chapter 145 Recap
Due to some technical issue, a fire was put in the stage setting room at the back of the performance stage. After noticing black smoke coming out of the staff room, everyone started panicking and rushing towards the exit even though one of the teachers told them to calm down.
The students of Tokiwadi Academy tried to control the situation, but nobody listened to them. As a last resort, Misaki used her mental power to stop all the crowd except a few students. She controlled all the people and moved them with the same pace and rhythm, making an orderly exit through the west side of the stairs.
Watching Misaki use her power shocked all the remaining students. Misaki shouted and said to all the Tokiwadai students that instead of just standing and watching, go and rescue people who were still trapped in the fire. She also ordered them to call firefighters immediately.
She told them now is the time to prove what Tokiwadai students are capable of. Hearing all this made all the students motivated, and they all started working in a group of three to rescue the people trapped inside the fire. Satori connected to all student’s minds as she was a telepath.
Misaki saw a cat running inside the school, so she followed it. She tried to catch the cat, but the cat was running from her. Afterward, the cat grabbed Misaki’s hair because it was smooth. Misaki then tried to escape from the fire with the cat, but the smoke was everywhere, which caused her to breathe properly.
Due to not getting enough oxygen, she fell on the ground with the cat. The cat pulled a whistle from her pocket. Seeing the whistle, she remembered that Taumo had given her the whistle so she could call him for help when she got in danger.
As she tried to blow the whistle, she coughed as there was too much smoke. Due to the smoke, she wasn’t able to blow the whistle. As she was about to lose consciousness, two of the student came to her rescue. They safely rescued her to the exit. When Misaki asked how they knew about her location, Satori said that she still had the link of telepathy on her. The chapter ended with Satori introducing herself to Misaki.
