More About TNX
TNX, or The New Six, is a South Korean boy band born from the Loud survival audition program by P Nation. Comprising six talented members – Kyungjun, Taehun, Hyunsoo, Junhyeok, Hwi, and Sungjun – they debuted on May 17, 2022, with their inaugural extended play (EP) titled “Way Up.”
The New Six’s origin can be traced back to the SBS K-pop reality competition, Loud. This innovative show united contestants globally, competing for spots in two new boy groups—one under JYP Entertainment and the other under P Nation. Psy and Park Jin-young, influential figures in K-pop, led this collaborative venture, shaping the destiny of The New Six.
Loud debuted on June 5, 2021, airing Saturdays at 21:00 PM KST on SBS. The culmination on September 11, 2021, marked P Nation’s introduction of seven members. However, on January 24, 2022, the departure of 13-year-old Koki Tanaka was announced. He left TNX to pursue further training at P Nation, reshaping the group into a dynamic six-member ensemble.
March 29, 2022, marked P Nation’s official christening of the group as TNX (The New Six), paving the way for their debut on May 17, 2022.
The fervent anticipation for TNX’s digital single and mini-album intensifies, with Cheon Jun Hyeok’s return adding an extra layer of excitement to the K-pop scene. Stay tuned for TNX’s forthcoming catchy tunes and captivating performances in the months ahead!
