Young WWE wrestler Tiffany Stratton landed in hot water after sharing a racist video on social media. Despite the controversy, she appears to be facing no consequences.
Racist Video Sparks Outrage
Stratton, recently introduced on SmackDown, shared a video where she slapped another wrestler, Jade Cargill, with a racial slur used in the background. Fans were quick to condemn the video, calling it racist. Stratton eventually took it down.
According to a wrestling journalist, some fans believe Stratton avoided punishment because she’s considered a promising wrestler. If it were someone less important, they might have been fired. The situation became serious after many fans sent the video to a high-ranking WWE official.
Despite the controversy, WWE has not announced any disciplinary action against Stratton. In fact, she is still scheduled to compete in the Queen of the Ring tournament this week, facing off against Bianca Belair.
While Stratton will likely avoid such behavior in the future, it remains to be seen if WWE will address the situation publicly.
