Throne of Seal is getting more interesting with every new episode, and now we are finally approaching an all-out battle against the demon gods. After the Valiant efforts of Austin Griffin, Hao Chen, and the Sheng family managed to subdue two demon gods, but it’s still not over yet. Austin Griffin has been left in a near-death state, so he wouldn’t be able to fight anymore, which leaves all the responsibilities to Hao Chen.
We also got to see Cai’ers past in the last episode, which surely left everyone in tears. Cai’er has now confessed her feelings for Hao Chen despite her deteriorating condition, and Hao Chen has promised to always protect her. With the intelligence gathered on the Demon Valley, the Sheng family and Exorcism Pass prepare for battle in Throne of Seal Episode 63!
Throne of Seal Episode 62: Recap
The episode opens up with the 3 demon gods having a meeting together. The Ox Demon god lashes out at the other two demon gods for not catching Austin Griffin as they encountered him in battle. The other two demon gods feel ashamed of their failure and don’t respond, which angers the Ox Demon god even more, and he tells them that they could’ve handed Austin Griffin to the Demon King as he’s even more valuable than the exorcism pass.
The other demon god stands up and says that Austin Griffin has regained his strength and is currently the strongest, but the Ox Demon God argues that they are just too weak, which angers the Phoenix Demon God, and he throws his sword at Ox Demon God to make him shut up. The other demon god tells Ox Demon god that he is being arrogant just because he wasn’t there when Austin Griffin showed the power of the God of Heavenly Punishment, the embodiment of destruction.
The Ox Demon God goes silent after realizing his mistake, and the Phoenix Demon God tells them that they need to call the Demon Emperor but the other Demon God argues that it’s not necessary. He explains that Austin Griffin used 90 percent of his life force in the last battle, so he would be currently resting in the exorcism temple, which makes him easier to catch.
The focus then shifts to Cai’er and Hao Chen resting in the exorcism temple. Sheng Yue enters the scene after some time and tells Hao Chen that he depleted his spiritual energy in the last battle, so he should rest. He says that Ling Xin is currently undergoing treatment and that he would be fine despite his injuries, but he would be turned into a child as an after-effect of the Ayanami
. Hao Chen feels responsible for this, but Sheng Yue tells him that it’s because of him that Ling Xin would be fine as he would be dead if Hao Chen didn’t assist him in battle.
Hao Chen then shows everyone the 3 things he got from the chief, and everyone gets shocked to see them. One of the commanders tries to take those things from Hao Chen, but Sheng Yue stops him. Shen Yue explains that one of those things is an exorcism order, a symbol of the highest military commander of the exorcism pass, while the other thing is intelligence on the demon gods.
Hao Chen tries to give those things to Sheng Yue as he feels those are too important, but Sheng Yue refuses as the captain entrusted them to Hao Chen, so there must be a plan.
Sheng Yue then hands the intelligence to Gao Yingjie and asks him to decipher it. Sheng Yue then explains that the other thing is a strong skill that gives the user immense power. Yan Yu gets angry and take the skill from Hao Chen as she feels that it belongs to the Sheng Family.
This leads to a heater argument between Yan Yu and Cai’er which ends in tears. Cai’er refuses to accept Yan Yu and Ling Xin as her parents and refuses to meet Ling Xin. Hao Chen takes her away to calm her down, and after Cai’er tells him about her past, they both hug, and Cai’er confesses her love.
