Throne of Seal Episode 36: Recap
Throne of Seal, episode 36, starts with our hero realizing that he must fight the undead. Seeing this, he taps into the power of his ring and transforms it into a transformer-like suit and armor. We can see him fighting and cutting up the skeletons, but they always reform themselves to their original shape.
We find out that only people who have deep obsessions are turned into undead, and so these creatures cannot be defeated easily by usual means. He then realizes that if the flames of the souls of these creatures remain intact, he will not be able to kill them.
Only when they are purified using light-related skills can they be killed. Hence, he uses a holy sword, which turns them into ashes. While he was fighting them, the call of his dragon, Haoyue, became more intense and urgent, and he rushed to him while speeding things up.
We then see an explosion and Haoyue being badly injured and falling to the ground, but it turns out that he is fine. It was just Xiao Huo and Xiao Guang who were evolving and thus required more time. Our hero promises to protect Haoyue from the army of undead, which gives him more time to evolve.
The number of undead keeps on increasing, and it becomes difficult for him to hold them all off. Just then, we see a strange green light from the clouds, and a reflection of a skeleton appears, saying that he found Austin Griffin. The reflection turns out to be of Corpse Witch level 6.
As our hero continues to fight off the undead, he says that the witch is not allowed to move further as his fellow demonic beast is evolving. A clash between the two happens, and the witch gives the undead new energy by tapping his stick on the floor.
He then gives them the order to kill. As the undead fails to defeat him, the witch sends a powerful spell on the protection door, which slashes it into pieces. Seeing this enrages our hero, and they have an intense battle.
The witch gets angry and tells him that the person he is trying to protect is the reincarnated demon king, who was responsible for all the death and destruction that happened 6000 years ago; because of him, countless people got killed, and many undead were born.
The witch claims that the resting and evolving demon is the reincarnated demon god, but they say otherwise. We see our hero being knocked down and attacked, then a surge of power hits him, and he fights back. Being too hurt and powerless, he feels betrayed.
He is conflicted, just as we are, about whether the demon is the real demon king. Just as everyone else around him is telling him to kill the demon king, he gains all his strength, decides to trust his friend, and launches an attack on the witch. It will be interesting to see what the next episode has in store for us.
