John Boyega As Fontaine
Fontaine is first introduced as a drug dealer in The Glen, the main location of They Cloned Tyrone. Along with distributing drugs, Fontaine also closely monitors his rivals to prevent them from operating within his territory.
Things start to become bizarre for Fontaine in They Cloned Tyrone when he spies a rival in his territory and threatens him by breaking his leg. The following night, Fontaine’s rival shoots him dead, but Tyrone awakens the following morning at his house with no visible gunshot wounds.
The only witnesses to his death were self-described pimp Slick Charles and sex worker Yo-Yo, so the three set out to unravel the mystery behind his resurrection. Teyonah Parris As Yo-Yo
Yo-Yo makes his first appearance in The Cloned Tyrone as a sex worker who first assists Slick and Fontaine in confirming that Fontaine was probably shot dead by his competitors. When she joins Slick and Fontaine on their initial investigation into the circumstances behind Fontaine’s death, she unwittingly becomes engaged in the growing conspiracy of The Glen.
Yo-Yo helps Slick and Fontaine piece together all the strange mysteries they encounter in The Glen by using the Nancy Drew books as a reference. She doesn’t realize how difficult the questions they are seeking answers to are.
Jamie Foxx As Slick Charles
Slick Charles is a quick-witted self-described pimp who frequently reminds the group that he won “Pimp of the Year” at the 2005 International Players Ball. He is unable to accept that Fontaine is not a ghost when he first sees her after she has returned from the dead.
He, Fontaine, and Yo-Yo move closer to discovering the secret behind The Glen’s conspiracies, but he is also risk-averse and avoids sinking his foot too far into the deep end. Despite his best efforts to walk away, he keeps finding himself drawn back into Fontaine and Yo-Yo’s mystery-solving activities.
David Alan Grier As The Preacher
In a brief but crucial sequence in They Cloned Tyrone, David Alan Grier, best known for his appearances in Dad Stop Embarrassing Me! and Joe Pickett, plays a preacher.
Kiefer Sutherland As Nixon
Nixon, one of the key players who guard The Glen’s secrets, is played by Keifer Sutherland in the film They Cloned Tyrone. Sutherland portrayed Jack Bauer in 24: Live Another Day and The Caller in the 2002 film Phone Booth.
J. Alphonse Nicholson as Issac
