In the previous chapter of The Way That Knight Lives As A Lady, a conversation took place between Lucifela and Eozif. Lucifela asked Eozif. ”Seducing the fiance so that he takes your side?” Lucifela asked Eozif. To which Eozif commented on her straightforwardness.
However, it seemed that Eozif had ulterior motives, as Lucifela quickly declined his offer and made it clear that she didn’t want to play with anyone’s feelings. She advises Eozif to talk to her fiance directly instead of involving her.
Eozif had already anticipated Lucifela’s refusal and made her an offer to grant her a wish if he became a prince, i.e., a chance to kill Khalid Rurik.
