The Undertaker isn’t a fan of some “fans.” He, along with other wrestlers, are tired of autograph hunters who target them at airports.
These fans show up with piles of merchandise, hoping wrestlers will sign for a profit later. It’s frustrating for wrestlers, especially during early morning flights.
Undertaker Slams Airport Autograph Hunters
The Undertaker shared a story about a fan who used a young girl to try to get an autograph. He signed it, but added a message calling out the fan’s manipulative behavior.
The Undertaker declined, but noticed the same fan coaching a young girl on how to approach him. Feeling manipulated, The Undertaker decided to sign the photo, but with a message for the fan.
“I think I wrote on there, ‘Hey you can go F off’ on the picture,” The Undertaker said. He explained he signed it for the girl, but made his feelings clear about the situation. This kind of behavior is disrespectful to both the wrestlers and the young fans who are being used as pawns.
Wrestlers aren’t obligated to sign autographs, and it’s completely up to them. However, there will always be a small group of fans who feel entitled and will use any tactic to get what they want. Hopefully, by speaking out, wrestlers can discourage this behavior and make airports a less stressful experience for everyone.
