The Strongest Brave Man Of The Black Wizard Chapter 63 “Unhappy Reunion”: Recap
Zalord and Shion fought a bloody battle but they still refused to accept defeat and kept pushing. As Shion neared the end of his transformation, he decided to accept his defeat but he got saved when Emily jumped in and healed his wounds. Sadly, after a long fierce battle, Emily ended up getting caught in the crossfire and got stabbed through her stomach.
Shion is devastated at this sight whole Zalord gets even angry with Emily as she ruined his chance of killing Shion. In a fit of rage, Zalord extends his blade even more and pierces straight through Emily’s body but she is still not worried about her own life. She looks towards Shion and asks him to run as far away as possible.
Emily explains to Zalord that she knows the weakness of his curse marks but he calls it a bluff. Emily says that she will protect Shion as he’s the only one who can save the world but this angers Zalord even more and he smashes her into the ground.
Zalord walks towards her to finish her off instantly but she pulls out an explosive mana stone and blows herself up along with Zalord. Shion runs towards Emily’s body as she lies bleeding on the ground. She apologizes to Shion for deceiving him in the past but Shion says that he forgave her long ago which makes her smile as she takes her last breath.
Shion realizes that the Curse mark on him has also vanished which means Zalord’s marks have disappeared and Emily gave her life to protect him.
The Pope runs to Zalord’s body to see if he’s alive but he puts a curse mark on her to heal himself and takes away her life force. With the Pope out of the battle, there’s only one of Zalord’s teammates remaining and that is a mysterious hooded man. Shion believes that he must be the one with the highest life force but Zalord disagrees and reveals his true motive in letting him live till the end.
The hooded man removes his hood and reveals his face. That man is none of than Shion’s master Astora and Shion is shaken by this revelation. He tries to think of the reasons why his master would side with Zalord but Zalord himself explains that in exchange for his sparing his children’s lives, Astora became one of his teammates.
Astora apologizes to Shion as his own weaknesses led to his demise. Zalord begins his life force transfer from Astora but Shion tries to stop him but fails. Zalord explains that if Shion chooses to die here then he will let Astora go back to his children peacefully and remind Shion of everything he has lost so far making his life not worth living anymore.
Mary, Emily and his own family. Shion thinks that will he lose another person dear to him if he keeps fighting. He thinks of how much he wants his master to live.
