The Shaman Chapter 6 will be the latest installment in the Fantasy Action Manhwa. The story follows the life of a young Shaman who is too powerful for his own good. He is constantly being pursued by Gods, Spirits, and Ghosts alike who want to use him and his inherent abilities for their own accord. The only thing standing between them and our young shaman is his mother. Though a powerful shaman herself, she can even begin to fathom the endlessness of her son’s potential.

Nak-Bin, though very young, has an amazing reserve of spiritual energy and a body that can hold the Primordial Gods. Knowing what was in store for her son, his mother tried to give him a normal life. However, his classmates, even his teacher, were afraid of his abilities. Without much luck, she summoned the gods who were interested in him to try and persuade them. She was shocked to see the number of gods at the ritual.

There, we learn that Nak-Bin is a descendant of Ja-Oji/Chiyou, the God of War and one of the Founding Fathers of China. He possesses Nak-Bin, but he is able to break free from his control on his own. Ja-Oji is impressed by this and leaves them alone for the time being. But before doing so, he made it clear that Nak-Bin was going to become a vessel for the Primordial Earth God and would bring about the end of the world as we know it. It is inevitable.

When one crisis is averted, another one takes its place. Nak-Bin told his mother that he could sense a presence moving closer to them day after day. He informs his mother, who tells him that it’s a particularly strong evil spirit and they are going to have to fight it. Nak-Bin asks if he should ask Ja-Oji for help and is quickly shut down. Nak-Bin was told to leave while his mother made preparations for the fight to come. But Nak-Bin seems to have other plans.

After his mom tells him no, he contacts Lord Dong-Ja for assistance. She answered her call, but since she is unable to fight, she suggested he contact Granpa Baek-Du since he is a Guardian Spirit. Baek-Du tells Nak-Bin that the Evil Spirit might be too much even for the likes of him to handle. Baek-Du tells him there is a good chance that his mother’s soul will get eaten. Nak-Bin is distraught and pleads with Baek-Du to give him a solution, and he does.

Turns out that Nak-Bin’s mother, in her possession, has a book on a secret technique called the Path of Spirit Governance. A technique that will help him control any spirit he wants. However, it’s an advanced skill that takes decades to master. But Nak-Bin only has mere hours before the spirit comes. Baek-Du asks him to just practice one line from the book and hope for the best. Nak-Bin found the book in their library in a box protected by spirits.

Baek-Du helps him open the box and take the book. After touching the book, Nak-Bin hears a voice. A voice that said that he has excellent potential but lacks the power to use it. He was told to find the voice, and they will give him power. The voice told him to come to a source of water. He rushes out to the nearest body of water, with Dong-Ja following closely. The scene then shifts to the bus station, where an elderly woman gets off. She is revealed to be the Evil Spirit who was hunting them.

The Shaman Chapter 6 Spoilers & Predictions

Since the raw scans, we already have a clear idea of what to expect from the upcoming chapter. Nak-Bin finds the body of water, and Dong-Ja suggests he touch the water but accidentally falls in. While diving down, Nak-Bin finds the one who called out to him. It was the water spirit of the valley. The spirit suggested she let her possess him, but Nak-Bin did not want to do that. He tries to escape, but the spirit traps him in its tendrils and is forcibly makes him drown.

While back at the temple, the evil spirit has already arrived. Nak-Bin’s mother puts on her Shaman attire and goes out to confront the spirit. The spirit was born out of the resentment of the victims of fraudulent shamans of the past who sacrificed people as they saw fit. This Evil spirit goes around killing shaman and imprisoning their souls, making them their puppets. Nak-Bin’s mom summons the Divine General to fight for her and the duo gets ready for battle.
