The series revolves around Yoon Dan Oh and Kang San. She lives with her sister and servants in the house left by her late father. She converted that house into a guesthouse named the Ihwawon Inn. In the royal hunting ground, a man appears to kill the King. Both shoot arrows toward each other. King gets shot in the chest, and the other one gets missed. Royal guards come to save the King. On the other hand, Shi Yeol and Hong Joo got attacked by a group of men. He fights back even after being hurt. He kills everyone alone.
Everyone is shocked to see the unconscious King, but the vice prime minister grins. The guards seize the man. After being shot by a guard, he crashed into some trees. The man was Kang San. Tae Hwa’s men inform him about the guy who fought with them. The guy had impressive sword techniques. Tae Hwa suspects him as the Watchman who protects Lee Seol. He orders them to find out more about the guy.
Kang San is back in the palace. He gets arrested on suspicion of the attack on the King. As evidence, they have the pouch given to Kang San by Dan Oh, but he refuses it to be his. The palace guard keeps this accident hidden within the palace. The King is severely injured, but no one is weeping.
Jung Yoo Ha and Kang San is having conversations about their tragic childhood. Yoo Ha was abandoned and lived without a home, parents, or siblings. Kang San faced the same fate too. They are going to meet their grandmother. She will be shocked to see them together.
