The story revolves around Dan Oh and her guesthouse. She had a loving family and a happy life until the death of her parents. She has converted her house into a guesthouse to make her living. She takes care of her sister and the servants of the house.
Dan Oh’s guesthouse is for scholars preparing for civil service examinations. She meets three boys who are staying in her guesthouse. They have come as scholars, but there is more to their identity. Kang San, Jung Yoo Ha, and Kim Shi Yeol are somehow connected.
The Secret Romantic Guesthouse Episode 15: Recap
Kim Shi Yeol and Hong Joo confessed their love for each other. They spend time talking about their future. Hong Joo gained confidence and began living as she desired after meeting Shi Yeol. At night, Tae Hwa trespassed into the guesthouse to check whether the rumor about Hong Joo was alive. He has a plan and doesn’t want this news to spread outside that his dead daughter-in-law is living here.
Jung Yoo Ha asks Shi Yeol about his real identity. Shi Yeol cautions Yoo Ha that the Watchman will always kill those who threaten his master’s safety. Kang San learns that Hwa Kyung sent the assassins to kill him. She wants someone else to take the throne. Yoo Ha joins the conversation blaming himself for the incident. Shi Yeol doesn’t trust Yoo Ha. Yoo Ha informs Kang San that he has confessed his love to Dan Oh. He still feels like having some chances with her.
The chief Eunuch and Kang San are discussing the removal of the current king. Kang San has joined hands with Yoo Ha, as both have suffered a lot, but the chief Eunuch questions him about who will take the throne next as a replacement. He makes him understand that power can change people and even brothers can turn enemies. A palace guard notices Chief Eunuch and Kang San together and informs this suspicious activity to Tae Hwa.
Tae Hwa orders another palace guard to keep an eye on Kang San, and the information shouldn’t go beyond the palace wall. The queen has come to visit the king, and Chief Eunuch warns her to think about the safety of her child and king before taking the side of Queen Dowager.
Queen Dowager and First Vice-minister are worried about the safety of Lee Seol as long as the current king is on the throne. King has come outside to take part in a shamanic ritual. He visits Dan Oh’s guesthouse without informing.
There will be royal hunting after three days in Mount Eungbong, and the security has to be secured. Kang San considers this as a suitable option to kill the king. Kang San has a plan, and he asks her fellow guard to change shifts with him as it is his father’s death anniversary. Dan Oh joins Kang San to make the guard believe his story.
It is the day of the royal hunting. Tae Hwa has a piece of important information which he wants to hand over to the king himself. He informs the king that Minister Shin Won Ho is supporting Mokinhoe. In order to help Lee Seol in taking the throne, Shin Won Ho, Chief Eunuch, and Queen Dowager are on his side.
