The series throws light on a police procedural drama where we see the focus on a group of new joiners in the force, also known as the roomies as they are trying to find their way around the crime in the city. Back in the most recent episode of the series we see that Lucy Chen is actually a very strong person when it comes to undercover tasks. Also, when Celina came in the middle to sort things out, everything actually started making sense more or less. I mean with the fact that Celina and Bailey grew close very quickly and then she also gave Nolan some advice, it was very brave of her. Later, we saw Celina and Nolan go on a new case. Here, a woman was involved in shooting a corpse. This woman’s original intention was to shoot an actual alive man.
But turns out she only fired at a dead body. Thus, the team is struggling to decide what they should charge her. The best part about the previous episode was seeing Nolan and Celina work a case together. The duo is unproblematic and knows how to work things out. The two, apart from that woman’s case, were paired together and uncovered a huge pharmaceutical ring. They even solved the case of the doctor’s death.

Turns out that he was poisoned by his own wife who wanted to get the insurance money from him. Other cases that took place in the episode revolved around an investigation run by Harper and Lopez. The two are finding a murderer. Also, on the other side, we saw Thorsen and Bradford paired up. The two have adopted a puppy.
Also, both the duo had their cases connected and it was truly a coincidence, obvious the writers knew though. Coming back to Lucy, we see that this season is giving her more undercover jobs than they should. I mean, nobody could see her and think this is a cop behind that pretty face. Also, this gives us a chance to see her in a variety of new characters which would never be possible before.
We see her move in a different tone and setting and this might be the creative exit that gives her the confidence that she needs. Also, there are some situations and plotlines that still do not feel right. I mean, the group still does not trust Lucy to the full extent because let’s face it, it is hard to know when she is in character and when she is not. What if she is fooling it all for us to see?
