Brendan and Laura’s love story didn’t quite have the fairy tale ending they had hoped for – it ended in a legal battle. They uncovered a shocking collaboration between an FBI assistant and a podcaster who thought stealing evidence would guarantee them a big payout.
Unfortunately for them, it only resulted in getting arrested. Meanwhile, Oliver proved he was more than capable in his job, leaving his colleague Simone feeling regretful for the way she had previously behaved towards him. She realized she had missed out on a valuable learning opportunity with him.
