In the previous chapter, the kingdom was in chaos after prince lady and lady Dorothy’s wedding ceremony, and the other maids asked Lefina about her love life. They also let her know there has been a rumor around the palace about her and sir wolf. Lefina clears the air by telling them he was ordered to protect her after the incident with lady milly.
Miss Camilla tells the other maids to stop pestering Lefina because she is getting uncomfortable with their talks. Miss Camilla gives alcohol to Lefina to pass to the knight in their barracks.
