Chapter 133 of The Remarried Empress begins with Heinley confessing his love for the Empress. The love between them is surely not a political love. Though the marriage was all political and planned, there seemed to be love from both sides.

As the Empress had left in anger the night before, Heinley asks if she is still angry with him. The Empress says that he must have misunderstood, and with him by her side, she is not worried about anything.

That night, the Empress meets Grand Duke Kaufman and asks him if he feels any tiny bit of guilt for giving her and Heinley the drug. Grand Duke Kaufman says nothing but just apologizes.

Grand Duke Kaufman has always been a really, really bad person. But the Empress constraints from saying so just in case she triggers him and he ends up doing worse things. Instead, the Empress just canceled the Transcontinental Trade.

The next day, the guests who came to the wedding also gradually returned one by one. After Rashta and Sovieshu left, the Empress’ parents came. As soon as the divorce trial was over, the Empress was released from Sovieshu’s captivity, and after her parents heard the news, they worried about the Empress a lot.

This time the Empress had to reassure her parents but before that, she coincidentally meets Sovieshu. He says to her that maybe they have made a mistake. He apologizes, saying that he made a plan for everything selfishly and he should have discussed it with her earlier.

When Sovieshu asks how to turn things back to normal, the Empress just tells him to take good care of the Eastern Country. Disappointed, Sovieshu tells the Empress that he truly loves her and leaves.
