With a mere swing of his weapon, Marnak has taken down his second opponent in the arena with a single blow. While Marnak and his team are making money in the arena, Draco has started to make his moves.
This time, Draco has decided to take on the Valtus Family so that he can abduct Dakia. Is the series headed towards an all-out war between the Valtus and the Irimel? Or Will Draco Fail once again? We’ll see in the future updates of The Priest Of Corruption!
The chapter opens up with Marnak, Dakia, and Mother, who then return to the hotel. At the hotel, Mother climbs up the bed and imitates the moves Marnak used during his fight. Dakia gets delighted by Mother’s imitations, and so she compliments her but Marnak gets rather embarrassed by this imitation.
Recap
Writhing Curiosity arrives in Marnak’s room and notices all the ruckus. Marnak apologizes to her immediately, but she replies that it’s fine. The Demon then compliments Marnak for the way he fought his last battle, and she further adds that she never expected such wild moves from a person who claims to be a priest.
The Demon then asks Marnak if it’s true that he rigged the match in the middle. Marnak replies that he didn’t exactly rig the match. It was just a stroke of luck that his opponent had the same feeling as him. Marnak further adds that he just put on a wonderful act for the audience to see.
The Demon tells Marnak that his act was so well received that she’s thinking of adding more of these acts in her other fights, but she would need a new actor for it because Big Foot left the arena to pursue his dreams. Writhing Curiosity offers Marnak to join her arena, but he respectfully declines the offer.
Marnak tells The Demon that he needs to release the seal on Mother. Mother gets extremely happy by seeing Marnak refuse such a big offer just because he wants to help her. The Demon accepts Marnak’s decision and asks him if he’s okay with her utilizing his acts in the arena.
Marnak permits The Demon to use his acts because it doesn’t matter to him. The Demon insists that she doesn’t like taking things for free, so she will pay Marnak if this act works out. Being a pretty generous guy, Marnak accepts the offer wholeheartedly.
The Demon then asks Marnak if he needs any help regarding his next match, but Marnak refuses the help. Marnak says that his next opponent is an evil spirit worshipper, and so this makes the match kinda personal for him.
After a while, the moment of battle arrives, and Marnak enters the ring with Big Foot’s weapon in his hand. Marnak’s Opponent Head Breaker flexes his muscles, thinking that he’s going to win. The Commentator announces Marnak’s arrival, and the audience erupts in cheers when they see Marnak holding Big Foot’s weapon. They believe that Marnak has killed Big Foot.
Marnak, or Human Slaughterer as per his arena name, gazes down upon his opponent through his mask. Before the fight begins, Marnak asks his opponent if his real name is “Getum.” The opponent gets shocked after hearing his real name from a stranger, and this shock gives Marnak the confirmation he needs.
Finally, the commentator announces the start of the fight, and Marnak ends it in one blow. With the swing of his weapon, Marnak blows his opponent’s head off. The audience and the commentator go silent as they see Getum’s head roll on the ground, but Mother is very pleased by this action.
Meanwhile, somewhere in the woods, Draco is plotting his next move with the Ileh headquarters’ higher-up Kantar. Kantar explains to Draco that he can’t abduct Dakia because she’s with Marnak, Sajita, and Karmen Valtus, who are all strong and fierce opponents. He also adds that Marnak and Dakia have been rumored to be in a relationship, and this makes Draco furious.
Draco asks Kantar to make sure no one knows about the rumors other than the organization, and then he asks Kantar to continue.
Kantar further adds that even the white wolf, Setian Valtus, has made contact with Dakia, which means that he would also take action if something happened to her. Kantar tells Draco that going against Setian is like going against Black Wolf Enthis Valtus, which is something they would like to avoid at all costs.
Kantar thinks that these reasons would convince Draco to give up, but Draco gets furious instead. Draco slams Kantar into the table and tells him to bring Dakia to him no matter what because he isn’t scared of Enthis.
