The People’s Court Season 26 Episode 12 Recap
Before diving into The Peoples Court Season 26 Episode 12, let’s quickly recap the previous episode. A Neighbor drama was presented in Episode 13. We witnessed two women appearing before the judge in the “Neighbor Fence Fude” case. Now, these two women live next door to one another, and based on the title, it is obvious that the two will argue about a fence. And in this episode, we saw precisely that.
As seen in the episode, one woman is whining about the issue her neighbor’s yard is causing her. Consequently, a common fence separates the yards in the front yard. In addition, a pool runs parallel to each residence. The woman then complains that her neighbor’s dad goes skinny dipping in their pool, which has a negative effect on the pool in her yard.
In the other case we saw the plaintiff Kenneth Mendez, he’s a New Jersey state arborist and was hired to remove some trees from the defendant’s property in December of 2019. He had to apply for permits and the township prevented him from removing some of the trees the defendant wanted to be cleared because they were located on the wetlands. He’s forbidden by the state to disturb whether he did the rest of the tree work and in the 10 years he’s been doing work for the defendant she never refused to pay him. He is suing for two thousand dollars.
Then we had the defendant Caroline, she says she never officially hired the plaintiff to remove her trees. She simply asked him for an estimate, and he informed her she would need permits for the job then he went ahead and applied for the permits and once they were approved he went ahead and just started chopping down trees while she was on vacation. She refuses to pay, she’s being intimidated by the plaintiff and his wife and now she lives hiding in her house with her windows boarded up. She’s accused of trimming a tree guy.
